Cap: Anyways on to the actual question...
Johnny: The doctor is Dr. Early. Never had a grudge against him. Nice guy. And for the nurse... I just gotta say the one I'm dating right now.
Cap: And...
*silence*
Cap: So, that's who?
Johnny: Well, uh... *mumbles the name under his breath*
Cap: I'm sorry? Johnny, we couldn't quite check that.
Johnny: *whiphers* I know. What if one of my next dates gets a hold of this information?? I can't just let that out into the world!
Cap: Okay, fine. well, stettle with what you originally said.
Chet: *adds to what Cap said* Even though that answer is lame and no one what's hear it.
Cap: Alright, Kelly. Let's just see how lame your answer is.
Chet: Awww, thanks, Cap! I thought you'd never ask!
Johnny: *rolls eyes*
Chet: I haven't really been to the hospital that much to have a "grudge" *makes quotation marks with hands* like Johnny seems to be known for.
Roy, Mike: *facepalm in unison*
Johnny: Hey, hey, hey there!
Roy: Chet, you fired up a burner.
Marco: *mumbles* Which reminds me. Gotta go stir my chili. But as hot as it is, it's still cooler than this conversation.
Johnny: I never said I still had a grudge against them. There's a reason why I didn't particularly care for Morton or Brackett at one time... And trust me, it was a reasonable reason. Back to you Chet. You're supposed to be answering the question, not attacking me with these... false accusations!
Chet: *nods* Okay, true.
Cap: *slow claps* For once, I'm proud of you two men. Surprised, but proud. You handled an argument like sensible adults, well almost. You're getting there.
Chet: *shakes head* *whispers* No, Cap. You don't understand. I bought and am reading a psychological book called 'Arguments for Dummies'. Great read. It says that sometimes you just need to nod and pretend you agree.
Cap: Well, that explains it. You know what to do from now on then don't you, Kelly? *smiles, automatically in a better mood* Back to the question here. Remember? I believe it's still your turn, Kelly.
Chet: Right, Cap. Anything for you. I think my favorite doctor is Dr. Brackett. He's fixed me up a few times. And nurse? Dixie. Cap, how about you next?
Cap: Well, uh, never really thought about it before, uh... I'm gonna say. Nurse McCall and Dr. Brackett. I've worked with him during a couple of calls out in the field.
Marco: I'm back. Same with Chet, I haven't really been at the hospital that often. But here we go. Nurse McCall. And the doctor? I can't pick. Either Doctor Brackett or Early.
Mike: I don't know. I'm going to say... Dr. Early and Nurse McCall.
Roy: I'll say of course, Dix for the nurse. I've known her for years. She was even out in the field with us when the paramedic program started. I'm not sure, either Mike. It's like an internal struggle between Dr. Brackett and Early. Maybe Dr. Brackett since he was willing to put his negative feelings aside about the paramedic program and jeperdise everything he had in his career. Now, that's saying something.
Johnny: Now, that you put it that way, Roy, you reminded me of that. Now I feel guilty for my answer. I'm changing it to Dr. Brackett.
Chet: Still lame, but not as lame.
Johnny: What you got something against Joe?
Chet: Brotherly love, Johnny. Brotherly love.
