Jasilineshadowwolf16 asks "Johnny, Roy, Cap, Mike, Marco... And oh, Chet, too. :P Chet is last by the way! Chet, be nice to Johnny! For that, Cap, can Chet get latrine duty for the next five months? :P

And the original question, when things get bad and one of the mothers or fathers of the children that pass on is young, and say things in the heat of the moment, does it hurt that they say such things?"

Chet: Hi!

Johnny: Chet! Jasiline specifically said YOU last!

Chet: Sorry, had to be a rebel.

Cap: And for that, Rebel...

Chet: Ohh, ohh. Oh, Cap.

Cap: You singing, Kelly? Nice song.

Johnny: *mumbles* Ooo, Captain's being a savage today.

Roy: Sounds like a drill sargent.

Marco: Probably not in the best of moods after that wildfire we helped finish fighting last night.

Mike: Again, that's why I'm standing back here. I don't have to test the waters long to know they're boiling. In fact, I don't even have to test the waters at all. I can feel the heat from here.

Chet: Haha Didn't see you standing there, Cap?

Cap: My friend, Jasiline had a good idea. You, Kelly, are going to receive my special gift of five months in the latrines. Isn't that pleasant?

Chet: Sometimes it's worth it. This is not one of those times. One word got me in trouble. Should've kept my big mouth shut. *shakes head*

Johnny: *mumbles* Seems to have learned his lesson. Only time will tell though.

Johnny: To answer your orginal question, I'll admit it has been rough for me, but it's something I've learned to deal with over time.

Roy: As a parent and a firefighter, this is one of the hardest situations to deal with. Being the one... to attempt and fail... to breathe the child back to life or locate them in burning building, you already have that guilt. But when the parent accuses you of not doing your job, risking the life of their child... That's the worst feeling in the world. I actually believe them at times, even though I know it's not true.

Cap: This is something I always try to instill in my men. You tried. You did your best. And you are not God.

Mike: When anyone dies, it can get to you at times, but when... *sighs* Children have always been the worst for me. Sometimes, you just can't get it out of your mind.

Marco: Yeah, I agree with everyone else, so far. For me it takes only takes a matter of time. It depends on the situation, but it does take its toll on me, especially involving children.

Chet: Yes, no matter who you are or where you're from this is an extremely hard thing to deal with. But we get through it together, because we've all been there.
