"Who are you?" Fiona asked a short woman with espresso colored skin. She leaned over the rock that Fiona had been resting against, casually admiring her red and purple striped nails ignoring Fiona's question for a second.

"I'm the one who's going to be asking the questions here thank you..." She was still looking at her nails and sighed before walking to the front of the rock and sat on it, "So what's going to happen is that all of you are going to come with me right now." She was calm and collected as a light breeze began to blow.

"I don't think so, not until you tell me where the hell we are!" Fiona took a step towards her and stopped when a tiger jumped from behind a few bushes and roared at her. Another one casually walked from the forest, its white and black fur glowing where small patches of sunlight touched it.

"It's not that hard." Daniel was already beginning to back up when he noticed that the ocean was now alive and violently crashing against the shore as if something had woken it up from its sleep.

"How about you and your cats go back into the forest wherever you came from and leave us alone!" Fiona snapped, not realizing that the odds were stacked against them. Even though it was three against six, Daniel was sure that a tiger counted as three.

Run!

Daniel looked around him frantically when he thought he heard someone whisper in his ear. For a moment, he thought it was all in his head.

Run now they mean to kill you!

The ancient voice in his head sounded so desperate that he couldn't help but be overcome by a chill that went down his spine as the tigers growled and inched forward, "Run!" This time he shouted.  They all bolted before the tigers lunged at them.

"Where are we going?" Fiona yelled as running down the beach with now three tigers following them. Thankfully they had as much difficulty running on the sand as they did.

"I don't know but a voice in my head told me to run and that they were going to kill us," Daniel informed her as she just looked at him flatly like he was only half insane.

"You know... Normally I would say that it's a bad idea to listen to the voices in your head, but this time I will give you an exception. Any more advice from your head?" As if it heard her it responded.

Into the forest now! This time Daniel wasn't so sure that he agreed to this advice.

I don't think that this is a good idea. He thought to himself when he looked back and saw the distance between them and the tigers shorten dramatically.

Just do it! Trust me. Could he talk to it!

"Into the forest!" He yelled, the others looked at him apprehensively as they ran. He could see the disapproving looks from all of them. They all kept running, ignoring his advice when he saw something move in the ocean. Something big.

"What the heck is that?!" Bestienna screamed when a giant crocodile-like animal jumped up onto the shore snapping at one of the tigers. Daniel saw a slight disturbance in the water slide towards them.

"Forest now!" He yelled this time everyone listened when another one barged out of out of the water onto the beach, blocking the Tigers' path.

Behind them on the beach, they heard whooshing and hissing. Strangely there weren't any roars from tigers. What exactly was happening back there? When the sounds of fighting and the beach vanished they slowed down and stopped on the ground underneath a few fern trees.

"Thank god for military training." Fiona gasped and laughed trying to catch her breath.

"Must be nice, not all of us got it." Bestienna glared with her back up against a tree trunk.
