"What do you mean like I say that I am? That's what everyone had been telling me. I don't even know what that means myself." Daniel protested, but she wasn't having any of it as her foot tapped on the asphalt impatiently.

"I don't care until I see you turn into a dragon like all mono-colored auras can. Until then, I'm not convinced." She looked at him up and down judgingly, "If you need a hint, think dragon." She teased. Daniel rolled his eyes then closed them.

He hoped that something would come to him. He thought about what he would think a dragon would look like. He visualized it in his head. Suddenly he heard crackling and popping from his aura like there was electricity swirling around him.

When he opened his eyes, he was about fifty feet in the air. Only the skyscrapers and a few scattered trees rivaled his height a he looked down anxiously. A blue double helix circled him until his aura sent an excited loud shockwave out from his body.

His skin hissed while it turned into cobalt blue scales. His body and limbs grew longer as his tailbone stretched at the same rate as his neck. Everything stretched far beyond their natural limits as he guessed his aura numbed the pain. The transformation sounded like a violent thunderstorm as people began flooding the streets to get a view of what was going on.

His legs and arms stopped growing once they landed on the ground. Two wings grew from his shoulder blades. He turned his new long serpentine like neck to look at his back, which was covered in crocodile like skin. Finally webbing formed in between his claws and three small horns popped up on his snout. He tried to swing his tail, which ended in a club, but stopped when he almost took out a house with it.

He looked down at Alise with his long neck. He slowly brought it down so that he could hear her talk. He tried to reply, but instead it turned into a sinister and reptilian roar. Santiago came running out of the house to see what the noise was.

"Oh wow, how tall is he?" He asked and Alise glared at him. She looked at Daniel and her eyes flashed sapphire like she was taking a picture.

"He's about forty-seven feet tall with his neck fully extended. He's mostly horizontal so probably almost five hundred feet long." Alise answered reluctantly. Daniel turned his head and looked at his wings as he stretched them out. He tried to use his hands but learned that they were his front legs. He stumbled, which earned him a few giggles from the audience.

He tired to talk again, but it came out as another roar that had everyone covering their ears, "Isabel will probably be near the Eastern Cliffs. Follow the ocean east once you get to the water." Alise told him and he nodded with a huff.

He flexed his shoulder blades slowly. It took a tremendous amount of energy as he wasn't used to moving his body like this, even as a human. Finally building up the muscle memory everything came naturally as his wings lifted him up into the air. His eyes went wide when he flew towards the city. The lights from the skyscrapers reached the ocean, which mimicked the light in the water. It was beautiful.

Something in the back of his head tugged at small memories like déjà vu. Is this what Persephone meant by giving him knowledge and some of her memories to help him? The scenery reminded him of a more modern version of the coastal city he lived in. He felt at home, even in a completely new dimension or planet.

He shook away the feeling so that he could focus on finding Isabel. He roared again with a reptilian shrill that got a lot of pedestrian attention as he flew towards the beach. He dove towards the water, brushed his legs against the waves and followed the darkening coastline.
