Fiona walked through the creepy ancient castle with shivers down her spine. She walked briskly down the corridor towards the front doors. When she reached for the doorknob it became encased in a purple orb that formed a protective barrier around it. She turned around to see Joseph standing there as purple aura trickled from his fingers to the door behind her and then stopped once he put his hand to his side.
"You seem eager to leave." He said smiled trying to be nice, but it didn't fool Fiona for a second.
"I am honestly. This place gives me the creeps and it's so dark and scary." She looked around confirming her feeling as the cavernous castle towered over her with barely any light as it darkened when the last rays of sun that made it into the castle started to fade away.
"This is a dangerous game you're playing Fiona." He said with his violet eyes staring at her seriously. His brown tanned body darkened as the light dimmed in the room.
"What are you talking about?" Fiona asked curiously and with confusion. Was she playing a game? Did they know something more than what they thought?
"Dominance and power." He said coldly while Fiona sighed internally as he was way off the mark, "Do you think you can possibly take over Statera and rival Jake?" She tried to keep it in, but she chuckled lightly at how ignorant he was over what her true intentions were. Could someone really be this dense, "What's so funny?" he demanded.
"Oh, Joseph. Why would I want to dominate anyone or take over anything? Better yet why would you care?" She asked trying not to laugh again as his face went completely blank at a loss for words. All she could see in his eyes were questions, "You and the rest shouldn't bother with me when a simple fisherman from a small town can wipe out multiple fleets of ships easily?" She egged on enjoying the discomfort her truthfulness brought to Joseph as he continued to stand there. The only thing he managed to do was clench his fist, "I dare you." She narrowed her eyes at him challengingly.
"Watch how you speak to me." He spat coldly. Her light friendly face went dark and hostile. She walked up to him slowly, her white heels clicking on the stone floor as she got closer to him.
"Or what?" She said right in front of him. Even though she had to look up at him there was no fear from her at all, "As far as you make believe game goes technically the only players are Jake, Bestienna, Daniel, Arthur, and whoever the new fire pure element. You are merely Jake's bitch." She insulted and watched as his jaw twitched at the insult.
"If I'm his bitch then what does that make you?" He asked and then Fiona smiled with a fake friendly gaze.
"A valuable asset. There is a reason why I and Jazmine don't grovel at his feet as you men do. We know that we are powerful and there's mutual understanding between us and Jake. So from now on do not confuse your rank and don't even think about ordering me around again." She threatened and this time Joseph smirked bringing his face down closer to hers.
"Or what princess?" He asked with a wide smile.
She narrowed her eyes at him like a cat before striking out with her hand catching him off guard. He yelped as her small hand wrapped around his neck and threw him down onto the stone floor. She knelt next to him and dug a knee into his back and pressed a cold diamond studded steel curved knife to the back of his neck. She leaned over and then whispered in his ear, "Or next time I'll plunge this blade through your windpipe." She said getting up as he breathed hard from holding his breath. About to walk out of the castle she turned around and looked up at the tall flight of stairs to see Seth and Jazmine standing there along with Alan. Fiona flashed them a smile before vacating the building elegantly.
