"So how does it feel to be a father?" Brad asks, clapping a hand on my shoulder.

"Scary? Exciting? Both?" I say, still in shock of what just happened.

Sophia gave birth to our beautiful baby girl, Sarah. The journey to the hospital is all a blur and I really don't remember much.

"I believe it, I can only hope that I will meet a girl like Soapie and have a family of my own," He says, gazing toward the door where Sophia's family is with her.

After three years of marriage, Soph and I decided to have a child. And even though she was just born, I know it was one of the best decisions of my life.

Sophia now knows everything there is to know about me and I know everything there is to know about her. And with this child, I feel the closest I ever have to her.

"You will, and I'm sure she'll be amazing," I tell him. Brad has had a few relationships here and there, but nothing serious.

Sophia's parents and Justin walk out of the room, all of them grinning widely.

"She's beautiful." Sophia's mom says, giving me another hug.

"She looks like her grandma," I say, smiling.

  "That word makes me feel so old!" She exclaims.

"You're far from it," I say, I hear someone running and turn to see my mother and Julia running down the hall.

"Simon!" Julia shouts. We don't get to see each other as often because Sophia and I moved to South Dakota.

"Hey, kiddo," I say, grinning at her pout. She still hates it when I call her a kid.

"Hi, sweetie," My mom says hugging me.

"Hi, mom." I hug her tight to my chest, I haven't seen my mom in a few months.

"Where's my beautiful granddaughter?" She asks looking at the door we are positioned in front of.

"In there, why don't you go say hi," I say gesturing to the door. She quickly hurries into the room with Julia on her tail.

"How are you, man?" Justin asks, shaking my hand.

"I've been great. How's Kelsey?" I ask referring to Justin's gold digger of a girlfriend. His eyes light up and he starts rambling about her.

Justin got done with high school and college early and is now a very successful lawyer. He met Kelsey and fell in love with her right away.

  My mom and Julia stepped out of the room with smiles on their faces.

"Sophia wants to see you," My mom says.

I nod and walk to the door opening it quickly.

"Hi, sweetheart," I say, planting a kiss on Sophia's forehead.

"Hey, Simon." Even now my name sounds amazing rolling off her tongue.

I look down and see a sleeping Sarah in her arms.

"She's so beautiful," I whisper.

"She really is." She whispers drifting off sleep after a bit.

I sit in the chair next to Sophia's bed and watch the two most important women in the world sleep.

I notice Sarah start to move around take her from Sophia's chest.

"Hey they beautiful, sleep good?" I say when she opens her eyes.

She smiles at me and makes a little noise that makes my smile grow.

"Your gonna grow up to be as beautiful as your mother," I tell her, "and I'm going to have to chase away a lot of guys, that's for sure. And someday one of those guys may break your heart or someone will be mean to you, and you may think it is your fault because you made a mistake. And I know you probably don't understand what I'm saying but I'll tell you this time and time again. We are all human and beautiful in our own ways. And we all make mistakes that will sometimes come with consequences. But those consequences will make you stronger. And if you are popular like I was, then try not to act like a god. Just because you have friends and are good at sports doesn't mean you should be rude to someone else or make fun of them."

Sarah just looks at me while I ramble and when I finish she smiles at me and closes her eyes again.

And it seems like only yesterday I was almost run into by a red-headed girl who called me "just some guy".
