RIN’s POV

MARCUS?!!

“Yah—why did it seem as if you’ve seen a ghost?!” He asked while standing meters apart from where I am.

“W-why are you here?! Are you stalking me?!”

“What?! Stalking you?! You?! Are you crazy?” He said trying to suppress a laugh.

I wiped my eyes with my hands to make sure it’s Marcus I’m seeing.

But it was really him.

“Then why are you here?”

“I live here. Is there a problem with that?” He pointed at the large house behind him.

“H-how’s—“ I said in disbelief.

This can’t be.

“And how about you? Why are you here? Are you my stalker now?!”

SNAP.

His conceitedness just angers me!!!!

 “For your information, I live here.” I said while putting a strand of hair behind my ear and then pointed at the house behind me.

I saw his eyes go round after hearing me say that I live here.

“Y-you live there?” He seriously asked.

“Didn’t you hear me say it?” I said quite annoyed.

He brushed his hand onto his hair out of disbelief, maybe?

“I heard you. Anyway… I’m going in.” He said and then turned around and waved a little.

How come, that Marcus lives there? I knew who actually lived there 9 years ago.

Is he and that person the same person?!!!

THAT’S IMPOSSIBLE!

But wait…

What if. Just what if…

 “Rin! Darling!” My mom greeted me and then hugged me tightly as she went out of the gate.

“Mom.” I said while still pondering over Marcus’ case.

My mom then assisted me in.

“You’ve finally arrived from school. So how’s your first day?” My dad who’s reading the newspaper said.

“It—it’s fine dad. I made friends.” I said still having my mind on Marcus’s case.

“Oh, is that so? That’s great then… Oh wait, honey, is dinner ready?”

“Dear, it’ll be, in just a few minutes. Rinnie~ do you mind calling your brothers upstairs?” Mom asked.

“Sure.” I said without a complain.

I went upstairs and then knocked on my older brother, Jaeshin’s door.

“Oppa, can I come in?”

The door opened, and it revealed my handsome older brother who I adore so much.

“OPPA!” I said and then placed my arms around his neck.

“What’s up my clingy sister?” He said and then he smiled.

I pulled away and then smiled back at him.

“Oppa, did you miss me?” I asked him in a cute way.

“NO.” He answered so bluntly.

“What?!” I said and then put out a sad face.

“Yah. Your brother is just kidding. Don’t look so sad.” He said and then gave me a peck on my lips.

I didn’t move even a bit at first. It’s the first time after a long time that someone kissed me on my lips. I mean, this is a natural thing for us siblings to be doing, but since I was not here for 9 years, I got a bit of a shock there.

I felt myself blush.

My brother’s 5 years older than me, that means he’s 23. And I am a woman. A woman struggling in her teenage years. And receiving a kiss at such a point in my life is…

“Hey. Are you blushing?” He said and then that disturbed my thoughts.

“Wah!!! Who’s blushing?!!!” I defended and then covered my face.

My brother chuckled. And then he removed my hands from my face and then held my cheeks in his hands,

“You’ve really grown up. You’re thinking differently than when you were a child… should oppa not greet you like that?” He asked sincerely.

“A-ani…” I said and then shook my head while looking at him eye to eye.

I just can’t give up the way we used to be for such sick fantasies.

I like my brothers so much that I can’t feel awkward with them.

“A—anyway, oppa, mom said the food is ready.” I said, quite stiffened still.

“Okay” He said, “go get Jaejin too. I’m sure he’s waiting for you.” And then he smiled at me and left me in front of his door still in disbelief.

They are my brothers.

My brothers.

Forget all those thoughts.

I said to myself to calm myself before knocking on Jaejin’s door.

A second later, he opened the door, and there I saw my 16 year old brother, Jaejin.

“Jae—“ I said to him, but he suddenly hugged me.

“Noona.” He said softly.

I hugged him back. After a long time, this is the first time I’ll be seeing him too.

He pulled away and I was yet again taken aback when he gave me a peck on my cheek.

2nd time, and it’s making me dizzy already.

“Yah! This kid. Seriously why are you so sweet.” I said to him and then I ruffled his hair.

“Yah. Noona, I was just happy to see you again. Is this how you’re gonna greet your brother?” He said and then pouted.

“Yah. Be a man! Is this how you’re gonna act in front of a girl?” I challenged him.

“Of course no!” And then he surprised me with a peck on my lips and then he run down the stairs.

“LEE JAEJIN!!!!” I said and then I chased after him.

“What’s so wrong with your handsome younger brother giving you a kiss? Why Jaeshin gets to do that to you?!” He said while still running.

“Yah! Get your butt here. You even just call oppa by his name! You worthless brat!”

“Here goes our house again.” Mom said from the living room.

“The moment your daughter comes in, this happens. Don’t mind them.” Father said.

“I know.” And then mom smiled sweetly.

My family. Seriously. This is how we really are.
