RIN’s POV
In the end, after the brief encounter awhile back, I knew for sure that Marcus finally knew it was me. But I don’t care anymore. I’m not ready to face him but at least he doesn’t know whether I’d be here at the concert or not. I just want to get a final glimpse of him and maybe I’d really forget him for good after this.
It was Spencer oppa’s “Say My Name” Solo number at the moment, which means, after this I’d get to see for the last time Marcus’ Solo song, “Isn’t She Lovely”. I don’t know but, this is the only number I’ve always been anticipating each concert they had that I’ve secretly attended. Maybe because it’s the only way I’d get a good look of my ex-boyfriend. Maybe because it makes me feel closer to him even if he doesn’t see me everytime.
Maybe I am just so in love with him.
I don’t know.
Suddenly, the lights dimmed. Spencer oppa’s solo finally finished.
As we were submerged in darkness, I waited for Marcus to appear and start singing with nervousness creeping up my whole body. The familiar tune of a different song started to play and I felt so nostalgic.
As the light slowly got back and focused on the person standing in front of us, I saw Marcus handsomely sporting a suit.
The crowd of fangirls squealed softly as they got swooned by a perfect looking guy in the form of my ex-boyfriend.
“Before I start, I’d like to leave a message for a person who might be here right now… This song was a song I’ve never sung before since it was an incomplete song made by that person who used to be there by my side all the time. In good and bad times she was always there for me to give me strength. And there was a time when she told me that she made this song for me. But after we got separated, this song was left unfinished… until one day I decided to finish this song so when I get the chance I’ll sing this to her in return… to show her how much I love her.” He said and then smiled.
“This is for you.”
And then he started to sing our song.
