16th string - Hugs and Kisses

MARCUS’s POV

“Vincent-hyung?!” I exclaimed and then Rin suddenly pushed me and moved away from the hug.

For some reason, I found it annoying that she has to pull away from me. I was very into the hug and our talk for an unknown reason, that I somehow became too greedy.

“I did not see anything!” Hyung said while placing his hands infront of his face.

Seriously. Hyung’s too cute and too innocent just doing that. And then I heard Rin giggle. I looked at her but she was too absorbed in her laugh.

“He’s so cute.” She uttered which sort of made me not so happy.

Then hyung moved away his hands and smiled adorably at us while standing up.

“Is she your new girlfriend?” Hyung said and  paused. I looked at Rin and she was beet red!

“Cause I’ve never seen before this beautiful lady with you. It’s always that primadona looking kid clinging to you, that you always bring.” Vincent-hyung teased.

“She’s just my friend.” I told him as I kept reminding myself, even though there was a trace of guilt in me by saying that.

She’s just my friend.

I looked over at Rin after saying that and she just stared with a blank expression at us.

“Really? But it doesn’t seem like that to me.” Hyung said and then smirked.

Then I saw hyung walk passed me and then he stopped in front of Rin. His aura suddenly changed from adorable to cool the moment he gently took Rin’s hand to kiss it.

“I’m Vincent Lee. This brat’s hyung in SHIVA.” He said and then smiled at Rin.

I saw this sweet smile crept over from the corner of her lips that she’ve never shown me.

And again, I felt my heart throb jus by seeing her do that.

“H-hello, I’m Rin Lee. I’m his high school friend.” She greeted to hyung.

“Really?” And she just nodded at him while keeping that puppy look.

“You should be careful since this guy is still like a fox even if he has a girlfriend.”

“HYUNG! Don’t tell her things that really don’t make sense!” I said quite annoyed.

And then I just realized that I took the opportunity to take Rin away from hyung by holding on to her hand.

“Hey. Why are you so rude towards him!” Rin said to me quite annoyed but I just kept dragging her out of the room.

She bowed to him a lot of times and then I saw hyung wave at her which she responded with a smile.

When we were out of the room and was quite far away from it, I stopped in my tracks, so she did.

“Marcus, you’re at it again. Are you really okay?” She asked and then she went in front of me with her one hand still on mine and her other hand waving in front of my face.

“I—I’m…” I said and then I let her hand go and buried my face in my hands.

“I’m okay.” I said while trying to compose myself.

Then suddenly she removed my hands from my face and held it in her hands.

“Don’t feel burdened. I didn’t even know why I came here, and what I was going to see, but knowing that it’s you that’s going up there in that stage, I think I would really enjoy today, so just be yourself and enjoy the moment just like how I’m going to enjoy seeing you perform. Do your best!” She said and then smiled sweetly at me.
