MARCUS’ POV

The wait is almost over. Just 30 minutes more and we will finally see our fans again. But despite that, I still feel nervous.

I got out of the dressing room and then went to a fire exit to calm myself down.

“Hey, do you remember what I told you the last time we saw each other in New York?” I heard that familiar voice and knew it was Henry speaking.

“Hmmm… about what? There were a lot of things we’ve talked about that day.”

Is that Rin he’s talking to?

“T-that thing about me… you… I mean, about us? I wish your feelings for me back then are still there… because, I still love you.” Henry spoke out which made me shocked.

So they were together in New York 4 years ago?!

“Lau… honestly… I don’t know. I can’t answer you. I’m so sorry.” Rin replied with a trail of sadness in her voice.

“It’s alright… you have all the time in the world to think about your answer. But can I ask, do you like someone now?” At the sound of his question, I felt my heart throb.

I should not hear this.

I can’t hear her answer.

I just don’t want to.

Because that might give me pain.

But wait… what am I even thinking towards her?!

She’s just your friend!

I softly opened the door not to let them realize someone’s been listening to them. And then as I went out, I still didn’t feel so good. I walked aimlessly in the hallway, still thinking about what I heard back there at the fire exit.

Because, I still love you.

do you like someone now?

do you like someone now?

do you like someone now?

“Marcus!” I heard that voice I wanted to hear so much.

She ran to me and then smiled.

“Hey! I was looking for you everywhere, but I can’t find you. But now I did!”

I held on to the back of my neck in embarrassment.

“Sorry. I was just out for some air.”

“Are you still nervous?” She asked and then she held with both her hands my cheeks.

“N-no… I’m not anymore.” I lied and then put her hands away from my face since it gives me a weird feeling.

“Really?”

I nodded.

“Is that so…” She said and then suddenly searched for something in her pocket. When she found it she kept it inside her hands, not wanting me to see what it is.

“Hey, close your eyes.” She told me. I was about to complain but I decided to be obedient.

“Your mom actually told me that you always get nervous whenever you’re in front of a large crowd. Then she gave me this. She told me that I should give this to you to give you strength. As someone who cares for you, I’m giving it to you right now.” And then I felt her body close to me. She hangs something in my neck for awhile and then I felt her pull away.

“Open your eyes!” She said excitedly like a child.

I opened my eyes and then held on to it. It was a necklace with a ring on it that seems very familiar to me.
