50th String: An Overdose of Happiness

RIN’s POV

“Kim Seulgi, you have a visitor.” I heard the female guard say as I sat in a room. In front of me was the other side of the room which is sealed out of my reach by a glass window sitting just in front of me.

The door opened and it revealed Seulgi in her uniform the institution gave her. She raised her head only to see me in front of her. She creased her brows but then I saw her eyes start to water. And then in an instant she stormed towards the seat provided for her just across me.

“Lee Sung Rin.” She said my real name.

“Kim Seul Gi.” I did the same.

“H-hey…” She said but then her voice trailed off into a whisper. “L-look. I’m really so sorry about what I did to you. Please forgive me. I don’t want to be here anymore. The people here don’t treat me well.” She started to cry.

“Calm down. I’m here to tell you that I’m getting you out but I’m not yet ready to forgive you, just so you know. What you’re going through… is not in any way worst that the hell you had put me in… So please, when you get out of here, do well and don’t ause any trouble.” I told her firmly and I saw her eyes soften.

“I-I will! T-thank you so much!!!!”

A few minutes later we were both brought into a room.

“Please have a seat.” The old lady on her office table said to us and we sat on the chairs provided in front of her table.

“As the assaulted have requested, you, Kim Seul Gi is hereby allowed to go out of the disciplinary facility. We would like to see a progress in you and not cause any harm to anyone, especially to the assaulted who moved the case filed against you of assault and injury. If further news about another case from you will be forwarded to us, expect to be back to the facility without bail for 1 year. But as this is a serious matter, you will be serving for a community service in your own school, that will be supervised by the school’s own disciplinary head for 3 months. If everything is clear to you and you agree to the said contract please sign below the file.” The old woman said and Seulgi signed the piece of paper without any hesitancy.

We went out of the institution and I never expected to see an amount of reporters at such a day. I got into a daze seeing all the flashes blind me. Suddenly, Seulgi pulled me into a hug and I felt all awkward doing that with her. She’s an enemy and I don’t feel like reconciling in any way yet. She should just be thankful for the cameras that I have to hug her back.

“Thank you.” She said.

After parting ways with the enemy I’ve set free I decided to visit SHIVA for their Music Bank Performance today. But I dropped by at some restaurant to buy around 250 lunchboxed food for the staff and the fans as I’ve promised. Well that ripped of a lot of money from my bank account but I don’t mind. I’m sure they will be happy to eat the food after amazing performances.

“Can you please help me send the food here?” I gave then the directions going to where the show will be held and they provided a truck to place the 10 boxes of food inside.

“Right away Ms. Lee.” They said.

I drove going to the venue after that.

“Can you help me bring all those boxes inside?” I asked the restaurant staff who drove the truck going to the venue after me.

“Ne.” They said politely and bowed.

“Thank you.” I said with formalities and then bowed back.
