CHAPTER 10:

RIN’s POV

I woke up after such a nice nap.

It felt like heaven to have been able to sleep like this.

I opened my eyes, but I got surprised at what I saw in front of me.

A sleeping Marcus Cho.

Oh no.

And then I just felt my heart starting to beat so fast yet again.

“How come this beating has been a habit when I’m in front of you, you bad guy.” I mumbled.

But then, looking at him made my heart so happy. I smiled before him.

Seeing him makes me feel joy. Joy that I’ve never felt for the past 9 years of my life.

Why now?

At these times when I was supposed to get back at the person, who made me like this?

And then I felt my hand move on it’s own and then I started to brush it on his fringe.

“You look like an angel when you’re asleep.” I said to him.

But there was no response.

“Of course, you won’t hear that. You’re asleep. Too bad for—“ And then I felt his grip on my hand which was caressing his hair.

“Who can’t hear what?” He said and then he opened his eyes and then looked at me.

“I—I—“ I said, stuttering.

I tried getting away from his hold but he was too strong to resist.

“I heard it all, pervert.” He said and then sticked out a tongue at me.

“From what did you hear of?” I suddenly exclaimed in embarrassment.

“Everything.” He said and then he smirked at me.

“Yah! Get your hands off me!” I said and so we struggled.

“I won’t let you go! Who looks like an angel when he sleeps?” He teased.

“You!!!!” I said quite annoyed.

And then I just froze when he landed on top of me on bed with his hands on my hands and his arms flexed in support to his body. Gladly, our  faces weren’t touching and were still centimeters apart.

We were both taken aback by our positions.

This looks so wrong.

Not one from us was speaking. And dead silence took over. But I could sense my heart beating so loud.

I hope he can’t hear it.

“Are you nervous?” He then said still on top of me.

“Not at all.” I bravely said trying not to stutter.

“Really?” He said and then moved his face closer that our noses are almost touching.

I gulped.

“Don’t you dare—“

And then we just heard the door slid open and there was a call from a familiar voice to me.

“Rin!!!!!.........Wait… Oops. Did I just ruin your moment?!” HaNa said as she stared at the both of us.

And that made us both too conscious of our position that we parted as fast as we could out of embarrassment.

“NO!” We said, trying to prove our innocence.
