RIN’s POV
Of course I lied the moment they asked me whether I know where’s the venue.
How could I actually know when this is my first time in COEX after 9 years of being gone?!
I wanted to look cool to them that I pretended that I know. It wouldn’t hurt anyway to just ask.
I saw a bunch of girls on one side near the exit, and so I decided to go to them and ask them.
“Hi! Do you know where’s the venue for the concert today?” I asked nicely.
There were about 8-9 girls that looked at me at the same time after I asked that. They looked all stunned when they turned to me. Maybe because asking out of the blue made me look like a creep.
“A-ah… we’re going there, do you wanna come with us?” One girl with a long hair asked.
“Really?! Sure! Of course. Really thank you.” I said while smiling and holding on to the girl’s hands.
And so they accompanied me going to the venue.
“Are you going to the concert?” She asked me.
I nodded my head and then smiled at her.
“But I’m not really a fan. My friends just asked me to come since they’ve got free tickets.” I told her.
“Jinjja???!!” Almost everyone asked in surprise.
“Y—yeah.” I said feeling hesitant whether to just answer that.
“How-d you get the free tickets?!” Another girl asked me.
I shrugged my shoulders and then uttered, “I really don’t know. I just got the notice this morning about it and went here.”
“You’re very much lucky to get free tickets to the con. We’re all fans of the group today, but most of us got seats at the back.” Another explained.
“Really?! Who’s performing today, anyway? And why the back only? That must be a bit far from the stage isn’t it?” I asked quite getting into the conversation.
“Really? You don’t even know whose performing? It’s SHIVA’s concert today!” One answered so enthusiastically.
“We basically got the back seats since the more expensive seats got taken away in seconds right after the tickets were released.” Another explained.
“SHIVA?” I think I have heard about it before somewhere.
“Yes! Don’t you even know what SHIVA is?!” The long-haired girl asked me.
I shook my head.
“Oh my god. How could some people not know about the most popular idol group today?! You’re one of a kind!”
“Well… that’s because—“ Then my phone rang again.
Must be the annoying Marcus Cho again.
-I’ve been waiting for you for years now- He said quite exasperated when I pressed the answer button.
“Yah. I’m almost there. Wait for me patiently you pabo.” I told him.
-Who’s more stupid? Me or you who for sure didn’t even know how to come here and pretended that she knows?- He teased.
“Yah!” I shouted over the phone that the girls were so surprised at me.
I mouthed to them “Mianhe” and then went back to my call.
-Anyway, come immediately. I’ve already asked the guards to let you in.- guards?!
