48th string - The Secret Plan

MARCUS’ POV

 

2 days have passed and Rin finally got a successful operation.

Things are finally shaping up for us. Seulgi got detained in a disciplinary institution instead of going to prison since she hasn’t reached the legal age. Lucky for her. Rin has not woken up yet but I can see her appearance looking better.

That’s my girl.

2 weeks later, while Rin’s still in the hospital to recuperate, the scandal between me and her dating has finally been reported as we expected. Her agency did it’s best to cover up for it since the last time me and her manager talked, but as we have expected, this will happen sooner or later. I’ve gotten myself prepared already so hearing the news didn’t bother me for a while. I’m just worried about my girlfriend. She might feel uneasy about the issue. She didn’t know about it since we tried to do our best to make the environment suitable for her condition. We kept the scandal a secret from her.

“Is she still sleeping?” Hana whispered from behind me.

“Yes. But I guess sooner, she’ll be waking up.” I told her.

“Thank God. Things are starting to go back to normal.” Hana sighed.

“Hey. Hey. Don’t be too much relieved! The scandal has even spread more like wild fire!” Aiden mused while showing his phone screen to us with fans’ comments.

Since yesterday, the issue about Rin and me dating has been the headline for all tabloids. TV stations kept on asking my agency and Rin’s agency about the issue but they respected our decision to not speak up yet. Not until my girl has to know it herself.

“What are you gonna do about this now?” Hana asked quite worried.

“I’m going to tell them the truth about us of course.”

“WHAT?!!!!” Both Aiden and Hana shouted.

“It’s not like I’ve not planned anything. I’m just waiting for the right time.” I told them.

“But how????” Hana exclaimed.

“You’ll know at the right time. I’m thinking of including you in the plan.” I said and then smirked.

Yes. That’s right. I’ve got a plan already on how to solve this. But that will be a secret for now.

RIN’s POV

 

As soon as I felt that I was alone in the room, I stopped pretending to be asleep. I opened my eyes to a semi-dark room. I noticed beforehand that something’s been up while I’m here recuperating. Those 3 didn’t even let me into anything they know that’s why I pretended to be asleep the moment they were gathered here and were talking.

“That kid didn’t even let me know  something like that happened.” I mumbled to myself while looking at the ceiling.

Now I’m really bothered.

I don’t know what I can do for Marcus at this state. If only I’m good enough to be released I would have faced the reporters and did my part.

As much as possible, I want to protect Marcus. I don’t want him to receive hate from the people who cares a lot for him.

That’s why, as soon as I get out of here, I’m going to deny everything charged upon us even if that means I’ll be lying.

This is for his good.
