I finished my salad and walked to the kitchen to clean up the mess. I wiped up the blood and threw away the chicken bones. I then went into my bedroom with Wolf in tow. He really likes to follow me.

I went into my closet and heard Wolf jump on my bed.

"You better not pee on there!" I shouted from the closet.

I grabbed some shorts and a tank top that I wore a few days ago with Sophia. When I walked out, I saw Wolf on my bed on his back, showing his belly. I giggled and pet his belly, which he really liked because he didn't want me to stop.

I stood back up and started to change into my running clothes. I decided to go for a run with him for the hell of it. I quickly threw off my top and looked over at Wolf. His eyes were a slight gold this time.

How many eye colors does this dog have?

"Wow, you pervert," I said, laughing.

Wolf ran off the bed and out of the room as fast as he could—which was pretty fast.

I continued to change and stepped out of my room to see Wolf in his bed. I grabbed his leash and drank some water. Then I walked over to Wolf and knelt down next to his bed.

"You wanna go for a run?" I asked, which got him extremely excited.

I clipped the leash on him and went to the door. I grabbed my keys and headed out.

As soon as we started running, Wolf was mostly pulling me for a while until he slowed down to my pace. We passed this huge field, and Wolf stopped abruptly, causing me to fall on my butt again.

I looked back at him, and he was just mesmerized by the field.

"What's gotten into you, Wolf?" I asked.

About a mile away was a tree line that surrounded the town. I looked back at him, then back at the field and forest. I got up and started running toward the forest.

Wolf just looked at me.

"Well, we could run in the woods if you want."

By the time I said woods, he was running with me to the tree line. I stopped and just stared at the trees. Wolf was ready to go, but I hesitated. I've never gone into the woods—much less run in them with my crazy dog-wolf.

Wolf just looked at me and nudged me to run next to the woods along the tree line. I giggled and started running beside the trees. It was nice. I was having fun, and so was he.

We ran for about an hour or two when the sun started to set. I slowed down to a jog and looked at Wolf.

"You need to 'go' before we head home," I said to him, which just made him look away.

We got to my apartment, and Wolf still hadn't "gone" yet.

"I'm not letting you inside until you 'go,' understand? I don't want to clean it up off the floor in the morning."

By that time, Wolf sniffed around my front door and peed on the bush next to it.

"Well, okay then," I said, slipping the keys in the door.

I opened it, and Wolf ran in, sniffing around and checking the apartment.

"What, any spooky ghosts around?" I said, laughing to myself.

I stepped into the apartment exhausted, locking the door behind me. I put the keys on the hook and grabbed a water bottle from the fridge. I walked into the living room and plopped down on the couch. In the quiet, I could hear the neighbors talking about their supposed drug-ridden son when Wolf started barking.

I got up and went to check on him. He was in the kitchen, barking at his dish.

"What?" I asked him. "What do you like then? Because that was my last piece of chicken you ate."

I opened the fridge and peered in.

Wolf grabbed one of the steaks off the bottom shelf that I was going to have for dinner tonight.

"Wait!" I yelled.

He dropped the package and looked up at me.

I ran over and picked it up. "Okay, well, I know what you like more now at least," I said.

I opened the package and looked at Wolf. "Raw?"

He barked and wagged his tail in response.

"Ew... but okay," I said, shrugging.

I picked up his food dish and cleaned it out. Then I plopped the meat into his dish and looked at him questioningly. He started running in circles and jumping. His tail was wagging a mile a minute.

I set the bowl down, and he jumped for it, grabbing the steak in his mouth and ripping into it. It was gross watching him eat.

I walked out of the kitchen and into my bedroom. I quickly changed into my pajamas. When I turned around, I saw Wolf in the hall doing the creepy golden/silver eye thing.

"Why are you such a weird dog?" I questioned as I walked past him.

I stepped into the kitchen to see the fridge door open and the other steaks gone, ripped open on the floor, which was covered in steak blood and dog slobber.

"What is this?!" I yelled.

Wolf came running in like a madman, until he saw what I saw and ran into my room even faster.

"Oh no, get back here, you! I was supposed to have those for dinner tonight and tomorrow!"

I followed him into my bedroom to see him hiding under the bed—but he left his tail sticking out, so I could see him.

"I can see you."

I tugged at his tail, which caused him to scoot under the bed and across to the other side.

I walked over to the sliding glass door that led to a screened-in porch.

"Out!" I yelled, pointing at the porch.

Wolf ran out there with his tail between his legs and hid behind one of the chairs. I slid the door closed and walked into the kitchen. I picked up the packages and threw them away. But when I was about to wipe up the floor, I noticed a particular blood stain.

It was in the shape of a foot.

Why would there be a footprint? It's just Wolf and me.

I cleaned up the blood and slobber and went to check the front door. Locked, as usual.

I then walked around the apartment. No one there.

Must have just been my imagination.

I looked at the clock. It read 10:58.

"Damn, I should go to bed."

I walked into my bedroom and looked out the sliding glass door to see Wolf still under the chair. I tapped lightly on the glass and crouched down. When he walked up, his head was low, and he didn't even look at me.

I leaned over and opened the door.

"You can come in, but only if you stop acting like such a weird dog."

Wolf licked my knee, and I let him in.

I closed and locked the door before pulling the drapes shut. I turned off the light and jumped into bed. I was slowly falling asleep when I heard Wolf jump up by my feet. He padded his way right next to me and plopped down on one of my legs.

I then dozed off to sleep...
