Chapter 42

We ran for a while until we got to this large lake, Javiare stopped and laid down in the grass next to the lake. I walked over to him and sat down next to him, I pulled my knees to my chest and started watching the sunset. The light colors of the sky reflected onto the lake, and the moon was already out. I heard Javiare howl right next to me, I looked over at him and laughed. He looked over at me and we both howled to the moon, it was more he was howling while I was just screaming. I leaned back as the stars started to come out, I saw the big diper and the little diper. As the sun fell behind the horizon fireflies came out and started buzzing around us "this is nice" I said,

Javiare peaked his head up looking at me, "thanks, I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you. I would have just grabbed another ice cream container and ate it in my dark room" I laughed

He shook his head, and nudged me to get up, "what? where do you want to go?" I asked getting up

He nudged me to walk and I followed him we walked for about 3 minutes when he stopped. He looked at me and I looked at him, "what?" I asked

He laid down and covered his eyes with his paws, "you want me to cover my eyes?" Javiare yipped and nodded

"Um, how will I know where to walk?" I asked dumbfounded

Javiare turned around and hit me with his tail, "well fine then" I said covering my eyes, "if I fall or get hurt its your fault" I stated

I grabbed his tail and felt him start to walk forward, and then left and straight again. He stopped abruptly causing me to numb into him, "sorry you could have told me, can I open now?" I asked

I heard him yip and in covers my eyes, I looked out to see a meadow of flowers, there was a gazibo in the center with cobblestone paths leading to it. "woah, I've never seen a place like this bafore" I told him

The fire flies were everywhere illuminating the flowers, as did the moon. We started walking over to the gazibo passing bye all the current types of flowers, the variety astounded me. We got up to the gazebo and it had a swing, the gazibo was all white with gold trim. "Wow, tis place would make a wicked wedding" I said sitting on the swing still looking around

Javiare yipped and laid down under the gazebo, l eaned back and started swinging. Feeling the air hearing the noises of the wild, it all felt serene. I wanted to sit there forever, just listening, relaxing, not doing anything at all. We sat there for I don't know how long before I started to get cold. I looked over and saw Javiare, sitting and looking around. "So what do you think Christine ment when she said you wouldn't be lonely anymore?" I asked him

He looked at me and cocked his head, "oh right you can't talk, can't you just change but hide or something?" I said

Javiare nodded and walked his way around behind the gazibo, he sae me watching him and motions for me to look away. "Oh, right" I said looking forward

I heard bones cracking for a while, then heard a creak of wood meaning he sat down, "well, I had met my mate a few years ago, but she rejected me. I was completely devastated, for weeks at a time I would never get out of my room. Barely eating and just laying in my bed emotionless." He explained

"So how did you start training?" I asked

I heard him sigh, " Roman, he was the one who busted into my room and beat me to a pulp. I asked him why and do you know what he said?" He asked, I told him no and he continued "he said that 'no wonder she rejected me, she wanted a strong man not a weak baby' and that got my blood boiling. I had dedicated every day proving I wasn't a weak baby like she thaught." He told me

"And what did she do?" I asked

"Well she saw me train, and did say she would accept me back, but by that point the bond had been broken and I had moved on. She under stood and move on too."

"Where is she now? Do you know?"

"Oh, yes she is working at the hospital, her name is Merily you've probably remember her from when we went to see Roman" he told me

I did, I remember her and I then remembers Roman. How I helped Christine save his life, now sometimes I wish I hadn't. "I can never forgive Roman for what he did, bannishing Jasper for something he didn't do" I said clenching my fist, my blood starting to boil

"Roman did what he had to do, the life and pleasure on a Alpha is hard to understand unless your in there position" Javiare said

"Dosnt matter you don't do that to t
Your brother" I exclaimed

"But he did confess to doing it" he said to me

I shook my head, "no way, Jasper dose have a side that I haven't seen, but he would never kill his brother that is unheard of" I said getting a little agrivated

"Its not in common for a younger brother to wish ill on there older brother, jealousy could be one reason. He could have wanted the alpha position, and that would have made you Luna. But I get where your saying, your loyal to him, i respect that" he complimented me

I shook my head, Jasper has no intention of being alpha, he told me himself. But still I get this sinking feeling like I'm missing something, some piece. I will never forget or forgive what Roman did though...
