Chapter 26

Ashley

"What!? She's dead?" I asked him.

Jared nodded while putting his head back, "3 years ago..." he told me.

"How did she die?" I asked

Jared's body froze, "Oh, um, uhh, you don't have to tell me, its ok," I paused "Lets get the tour on ok, I'm ready to find out where everything is." I said frantically.

Jared looked back up, his eyes no longer red. "Yeah, ok, lets get you familiar with the place." he said. getting up

I stood up too and followed him out the door, we were standing outside of the white double doors when he smiled "Welcome to the grand tour of: The Pack House!" he said presenting the hallway, I giggled, "As you can see this hallway is completely empty, and  the reason for that is because this is the Alphas floor, only the Alpha, Luna." he leaned in close "(which is you by the way)" he whispered. "And anyone who you ring up, other than emergencies are people allowed up here without permission." he gestured to the hall again.

"So what's with all the rooms?" I asked. "Just for two people?"

Jared's smile widened, he motioned for me to come close, he whispers in my ear "For the babies, of course." he whispered.

I started blushing, I have never thought of having kids much less baby werewolves. Jared saw me embarrassed and laughed a little, "Let's move on to another floor." he said holding out his hand "Would you please join me?" He asked in an exaggerated manner.

"It would be my pleasure." I said taking his hand.

He led me down one level where a few people were going in and out of doors and walking around in the halls. None of them made eye contact with me, "And here we have some of the higher level quarters, where our best warriors live if they chose to not live in a house, this is also where extended family of the Alpha residence." he told me.

So that means Jasper and Sophia are here, "Where's Sophia's​ room!?!?" I was exited to see her room, in case we wanted to have a mini sleepover or something.

Jared started walking over to a dark wood door, "Why, this one right here is Sophia and Jasper's room." he told me.

"They're sharing a room?!?"

"They're mates, yes." he looked at me confused, "That's what you do as a couple." he told me.

I quickly opened the door and busted in, I saw Jasper with Sophia clinging onto him in the bed. They both were naked, they jumped when I walked in but Sophia relaxed, I also saw coco on the bed too looking at me really exited. "Oh, its just you Ashley, what are you doing?" Sophia asked me.

"Umm, I should be asking you that!!" I said.

"Oh, um, well, I've been able to get to know Jasper, and he seems really nice, so I decided to give the whole soulmate thing a try." she shrugged "Please don't be mad, you'll understand when you get to know Roman." she told me.

That was true, I did start to feel some weird sparks, but still after I told her about my dream, and how it was about Jasper. Why wouldn't she take my warning? "Ok, I understand" I looked over at Jasper, "But if I see one scratch on her, or one tear fall. I will personally hunt you down." I told him before walking out of the room.

Jared waited out of the room the whole time, I stepped out and shut the door. "Next floor?" He asked.

I nodded my head following him, he showed me where Roman's office is, and where the meeting rooms are in case I ever have to be at one. We then got to the bottom floor, "Over there, you might remember is the dining room." I nodded "Well the room next to it is the kitchen" he walked over to a smaller set of double doors "And here is the kitchen." he said.

It was a lot smaller than I expected, stainless steel appliances, lots of counter space. There also were 3 ovens. "There are lots of ovens because we need to make so much food." he told me " We feed the entire pack 3 meals a day, and allow some snacks but those you can get on  your own." He told me leading me to a pantry full of every kind of chips, and snacks you could imagine.

I fell in love with that part as soon as I saw it, "Wow!"

"Its great, eh? Lets get you back to the Alphas floor, shall we?" He gestured to the door.

I looked back at the snacks and grabbed 3 jumbo bags of whatever I could reach, and laughed my way out of the kitchen. I could hear Jared behind me laughing too, I looked back and saw he had two litre bottles of soda. "Yes!" I shouted going up the stairs.

My ribs didn't hurt as my any more, probably from the cream, I got to the top of the stairs and looked down to see Jared was right on my tail. I quickly sprinted down the hall, laughing my brains off. I didn't care who would see, I didn't care who would judge me. I was having fun, I got to the end of the hall and went up the stairs that led to the Alphas floor. I could hear Jared speeding up behind me. I made it up to the top and saw the guards there, "Open up!" I yelled running for the door laughing

One looked at me strangely and opened the door for me and Jared, "Thanks!" I yelled back.

I quickly opened the white double doors and jumped on the bed. I looked back opening one of the bags I got, and saw Jared in the doorway. "You're pretty fast for a human." he said to me.

"Well, you run pretty slow for a werewolf." I said shovelling. a hand full of chips in my mouth.

He laughed and sat on the end of the bed, "They have some TV's down stairs if you want to go watch a movie?" He asked...

I am loving the feedback and all of your comments, the book has been doing really well so far and I have room for a book 2. That is only if everyone would like one, if there is a book two it would be in Sophias main point of view not Ashleys.
