Chapter 48

Sophia

Javiare showed me around, he showed me the shops and all the biz in the place, it was about lunch when we started walking back to the pack house. "So did you like training this morning?" he asked opening the door for me

"Yeah, it was a little awkward with all the guys though" I told him stepping inside

We walked in line to get in the dining hall, "yeah, there not used to training with a girl but some were surprised you could keep up mostly." He said

"Oh really, and were you one of them" I insinuated

"Hah, yes but besides me. The guys did find it odd to to have you there, but they can get used to it. Better be ready for tomorrow though" he told me

"What's tomorrow?" I asked

His smile said evil all over it, "sparing, and I want you to take someone on" he told me

I looked at him shocked, "what? The closest to fighting I've done is kik some girl in the shin back in grade school" I told him (yes I did)

He laughed, "well I can show you a few things after lunch that might help" he said as we walked inside the room

"Ok" I told him waveing good bye

I walked over to my table and saw Jared standing there with his hands behind his back. I walked over to my seat and was about to pull it out when Jared walked over to me, "no need" he gestured for me to stand next to him

I walked over and waited with him for everyone to sit, once they all were Jared put on a smile and looked around the room, "well, I hope everyone's day is going well. But I have another announcement, this one is a good one" he said, then turned to me and grabbed my hand, "Sophia here, will be my Luna" he announced

People started to talk and Jared cleared his thought to silence them, "I know you must be thinking, 'what about your mate alpha Jared?' Well, my mate died a few years back and Sophia here was banished. It is up to Sophia though" he looked down at me and put his hands on my shoulders, "Sophia will you be my Luna?" He asked

I looked up at him, and smiled "yes, I would love to" I said, then looked back out into the crowd, "I also got a text message from Ashley earlier, and it said that she was safe," I peaked at Jared and he nodded, "and has left the state, she was very sorry she couldn't tell me in person but she had to leave with Roman" I explained to them

They all seemed a bit heart broken, "but when I told her Jared here was becoming the new alpha she gave him her best wishes" I said looking up at Jared

Jared nodded and took my hand, he led me over to the buffet table and handed me a plate, "for you madam" he said with a fake British accent

I laughed and took the plate, "and thank you good sir" I retorted back

He filled my plate and then his, I got a sandwich an Apple and some chips. While Jared got everything else. We walked back over to the table and he pulled the Luna seat out for me, I sat down and he pushed me in. He then sat down next to me and started eating.

Once dinner was over he led me out of the dining hall and up the stairs, I could hear Javiare calling my name and when I looked back I saw him at the bottom of the stairs. "I thought I was going to show you some fighting techniques after lunch?" He asked

I felt Jareds hand tighten on mine, I looked up at him and saw him looking at me, a look that said no. I looked back over to Javiare, "I can't, me and Jared need to talk maybe later ok" I said being pulled off by Jared mis sentence

Javiare stood there looking up where I was standing until he couldn't see me anymore. I followed Jared, he led me to my room, "pick out what you want to bring up to the new room" he told me opening my door

I walked in and picked up Cocos leash, I cliped it on her matching collar and grabbed a few of my favorite outfits in the closet, while shoveling them into a gigantic purse. I started to walk out but looked back one last time, it was almost as if I could see Jasper standing right in front of me. I quickly turned away before the tears came, I walked out and followed Jared up the stairs again to the alphas level "what's wrong?" He asked not even looking back, "I thought this is what you wanted?"

I too la deep breath and let out a sigh, "its nothing I just thought I saw Jasper in my old room" I said to him

He still didn't look back, "yeah that happens when you cant see your mate for a while" he said flatly

I looked up at him, oh yeah, his mate died. We made it up the stairs and down the hall, "feel free to come up here any time, it is your room to now. I wont be in here often so it will mostly be like your room" he said

"Ok" I said setting my bag down and unhooking coco "she's house trained" I told him

"Good, but she's not allowed on the bed, I don't like muts touching my things"

Coco immediately ran to the bed and hopped up, I was about to start laughing when Jared let out a fowl that sent coco off the bed. Im guessing he's not a dog person then, that's a big surprise, I thaught. "So is this it, is this all you needed me for?" I asked

He shook his head, "no there's a lot more paperwork into becoming Alpha and Luna" he told me, "put your stuff away and then meet me in the room across the hall" he told me

He walked out and closed the door, and I put my stuff in the closet but when I walked in there I saw all of Ashleys stuff...

Just want to let the guessing game start, 2 main characters will die...
