Chapter 37

This is honestly my fave chapter in the book...

"2 days?" He looked at me shocked

"Yeah, a real stressful 2 days" I said leading him into the pack house

We made our way up the stairs and down the hall, I could hear talking from the other side of the door. Roman took a deep breath and stood up straight, he opened the door and stepped inside. Both Jasper and Jared were held back by four other guards, all in button up shirts tucked into dress pants. If I didn't know better I would think these guys were apart of the CIA or something. everyone in the room was shocked to see Roman, he stepped inside and leaned on his desk. A smug smile on his face as the rest of us stepped in, his office was large enough to fit twice as many of us. I stood next to Roman while Sophia stood next to Jasper with an annoyed face directed at everyone but Jasper. Roman took another deep breath, "so, you two tried to kill me" he said, then looked down at me, "what exactly happened?" He asked me

"Well, Jared walked in with an in marked bottle and Jasper followed him from behind. Jared then told me to give you the 'medicine' every eight hours. So Jared was the one who brought it and told me what to do" I said to him

Roman looked over at Jared mad written all over his face, " well do you have anything to say?" Roman asked

Jared smiled, then looked over to Jasper. "Should I tell him, or would you like to?" He asked

Jasper dropped his head, and Jared continued, "well there is something you should know-" he started but got interrupted by Jasper

"I did it!" He yelled, his head flying up" I tried to kill you! I got the poison from a witch a while ago and told Jared it would heal you. I told Jared to give it to Ashley for you, because she dosnt like me" his head dropped again

I leaned closer to Roman, Sophia shocked looked at Jasper and then at Roman,"no no no, he wouldn't he loves you" she plead

I started to walk over to comfort her but she jearked and stepped away, "no, you wanted this, you and your stupid dreams, saying that Jasper is the bad guy!" She yelled

Roman taught for a moment, and looked over at Jasper and his guards, "Jasper you are bood, and I don't want you killed" he started and Sophia sighed in relief, Roman continued, "but this will not go in punished, Jasper Chat on as Alpha of this pack I here by banish you from our lands" he said

Sophia fell to the floor on her knees, "noooo" she cried out

Jasper just let his head fall as the guards started to drag them out, Sophia then got up and started chasing after them, I was about to go after her but Roman stopped me, "she needs time" he told me

I nodded and stepped back, Roman stepped over to Jared and the guards let go of him. Roman huffed up, "just know if I hear you were at all connected to that, I will not hesitate or be gentle like I did my brother" he told him

Jared nodded a serious face, " never" Jared said

Roman nodded and held out his hand, Jared grabbed his forearm and they hugged quickly patting each others back. Jared and the other guards all left, Roman and I were the only ones left in his office. Roman walked behind his desk and sat down, once the door shut he lanes over his desk and winced in pain. I moved around and placed my hand lightly on his arm, the tingles making there known throughout my body. "Are you ok?" I asked

He looked up at me and smiled, "I'm fine" he said, his smile dropped and went to serious, "what was she talking about? What dreams?" He asked

I looked away, his hand softly moved my chin to face him, "you can tell me" he pleaded

I let out a sigh, "there weird dreams, like one I saw you in, and another Jared thinks I saw the moon goddess and um..." I put my hand in his, "Jared said I might have met your father" I told him

His eyes went wide and he stood up, "my father? And why did you talk to Jared instead of me?" He stepped closer our body's almost touching

"Well- um- I- I was but then you were busy, and Jared was there so I just told him" I could see hurt in his eyes, "but I was going to tell you first" I blurted out

"Anything else in your dreams I should know about?" He asked changing the subject

I nodded, "there was a man in all white with a black wolf mask, him and the moon goddess lady were trying to tell me something" he nodded for me to continue, " the moon goddess said ' you are the one' and then disappeared, I then turned around and saw the man in the black mask and he yelled at me, 'don't trust Ja-' then he was cut off because I woke up" I told him almost about to cry remembering the dreams

Roman wrapped his arms around me and held me tight to his chest, "it's ok, relax, its just us" he said

I nodded while wrapping my arms around him holding him tighter  he dropped his head into the crook of my neck and started smelling me. "Your scent is amazing" he said, "so who found out about the poison, or do I still have it in me?" He asked

I looked over on his desk and saw the brown paper bag on Romans desk, "a witch" I said

"Ahh so we have a witch on our lands, in going to have to thank her" he said

"Um... You have more than one" I told him

He chuckled, "oh, I thought witches travel alone"

"She did" I said

He leaned back and looked at me puzzled, he chuckled, "than who's the second witch?" He asked with a smile on his face

I looked down for a moment and then back up at him, "I am" I said...
