Chapter 14

~Olivia's POV~

As I was running out I ran into Cam. I looked at him but he wasn't paying any attention to me. His gaze was fixed on Mahogony and something told me that he had firgured out what Mahogony and I were talking about.

I moved around him and headed out the door.

Neither of them stopped me.

~Mahogony's POV~

I figured I'd let Olivia go and give her some space. On her way out she ran into Cam. He didn't even notice. His eyes were fixed on me. I gulped and twiddled my fingers.

~Cams POV~

Though Taylor and I still weren't on speaking terms we managed to get Olivia's birthday party ready on time.

I was on my way to the girls room. I was about to open the door when something made me freeze in my tracks.

"Cam never pulled back..." Mahogony's voice said faintly. I gasped. She was telling Olivia about the past. I wanted to barge in and stop her but that would make things worse on Olivia. I decided to talk to Mahogony's once Olivia had left.

Just as I walked into the room, I ran into Olivia. She wasnt crying and I was glad. This was alot to take in and she was acting calmer then she should be. I was staring ahead at Mahogony. She looked nervous...almost scared.

Olivia pushed past me and out the door. I sighed and looke at Mahogany.

"Why tell her? She's gonna hate me now." I muttered and collapsed onto one of the beds.

"Im sorry Cam. She wouldnt let me buy her a dress and the only way I could was if I told her...everything." Mahogony came to sit beside me.

"She doesnt want anything to do with me anymore..." I mumbled and sighed.

"Thats not true Cam. Olivia reacted differently to the truth then I thought. Maybe she'll think of you differently then before. Just take it slow and give her some space." Mahogany reassured me.

I bit the inside of my cheek. "Im giving her to Taylor. Maybe this way the two of us will be friends again and I wont have to see Olivia broken again...Besides..I never deserved her in the first place." With those last words I jumped off the bed and headed out the door. I stopped in the doorway.

"Olivias birthday party is all set. Bring her over The Bouncy Mansion at 3 tomorrow."

I left.

~Olivia's POV~

I didnt exactly know where I was going. All I knew is that I needed time to think. I couldnt feel anything. I didnt have the urge to cry or scream or yell. I was just numb. I let my mind wonder to my new identity.

~Shawns POV~

Bart assighned Taylor, Cam and I to the same hotel room. He was hoping I could get them to be friends again for the rest of tour. So far niether had talked to each other. Taylor was taking a shower when Cameron walked into the room.

"What happened?" I asked seeing as his face was plastered with sadness. He sat on the bed and looked down at his feet.

"Mahogony told Olivia..About the past...Everything.." He whispered.

"Oh.." Was all I could say. Cameron must be torn.

"But thats okay...Im still gonna let Taylor be with her and if he doesnt...Im gonna try to get her back."

"And if she doesnt?" I asked.

Cameron looked up at me solemnly. "Shes all yours."

~Olivias POV~

I ended up at a hot spot for cliff-diving. Nobody was around.

I sat at the edge of the cliff with my legs hanging down looking out at the water. Ive always been afraid of large bodies of water but right now the crashing blue waves beneathe me seemed peaceful.

No matter how many times I tried to think of something, my mind always went back to the same scenario.

Cam or Tay?

According to Mahogany, Ive had feelings for both of them in the past.

But...Tay was the only one that stuck in my mind. It was because of my passion for Taylor that has driven me this far. He was the reason I snuck out. The reason my mind doesnt think about cutting when Im in pain. He's the reason for my smile. My happiness. My world...

And I could finally get him if I wanted...But...Cameron...

~Shawns POV~

Cameron ended up falling asleep after our little chat. Taylor had gone out with the Jacks, Aaron, and Carter to make sure everything was ready for Olivia's party tomorrow. I stayed behind hoping to talk to Olivia. I went to Mahogonys room and asked where Olivia was. She said she didn't know. This got me really worried.

After searching for almost an hour I finally found her a a cliff-diving hot spot.

"Hey." I said as I got closer. She looked behind at me and smiled.

"Hey Shawn." I sat down beside her and let my legs dangle along side hers.

"You doing okay?" I asked. "I heard Mahogony told you about our past."

She nodded and played with her hands.

"You're taking it better then any of us thought." I said.

"Im just...shocked...If you found out you were adopted and had a history with your favorite celebrity, how would you react?" She asked.

"I'd be shocked too." I muttered. "What have you been thinking about this past hour?"

"I'm not really mad at any of you for hiding the truth from me. I'm just confused.." She explained.

I was about to say something when I felt her head rest on my shoulder. My heart started to race. I could smell her perfume. She smelled like roses. Her hair tickled the side of my cheek. At that moment I wish time would just stop. I was in heaven. Here on the edge of a cliff, over the crashing blue waves, and under the warm rays of the sun with the one girl who made me feel like no one else could.

"I dont know whether to choose Tay or Cam.." She whispered. And thats it. The blue waves turned into a hurricane of anger and the warm rays turned into dark black clouds of sadness. Reality crashed through and my image of heaven disaappeard.

"Shawn?..." Olivia asked and looked up at me through her long lashes. My eyes were fixed ahead of me.

"Follow your heart Olivia..." I said. My voice cracked slightly at her name and I hoped she hadnt noticed.

"Thanks Shawn." I nodded and Olivia wrapped her arms around my waist and hugged me. I was frozen for a second but didnt miss the oppurtunity to wrap my arms around her and hug her back tightly.

"Would you like to hang out tomorrow? Maybe some fun will get your mind off this." I smiled at her once she pulled back. Olivia bit her bottom lip before nodding.

"Yeah..That would be nice.."
