"What did you just say?"

Napatigil ako sa paglayo sa kanya ng marealize ko ang nasabi ko. Kaagad akong napalingon sa kinaroroonan ni Kylie.

She looks shocked.

Sino ba namang hindi? We were just starting to communicate, trying to bring back the old us athmosphere when I suddenly blurted out those words and now you can feel the awkwardness inside the room.

What should I do? Should I lie? Or should I tell her the truth?

"May sinabi ba ako?" sambit ko as I tried to smile at her.

In th end even though I want to tell the truth to her, I choose to lie.

Did I said it out loud? Did I? Did I just lied to her?

I look away I couldn't afford her looking straight into my eyes and to see through my white lies.

"Wala, I thought I heard you say something" she said as she tried to to cheer her voice up as she look at me and smiled "Anyway, don't mind it" she said trying to sound cool as she looks away and look at the big buildings near her hospital room.

Guilt. It's eating me. While I was looking straight at her eyes I want to look away every time because I lied to the most precious person in front of me. I lied for the 2nd time around.

I smiled at her as I walk towards her "Want to do something fun?"

Kylie looks at me "Hands of, Mister" she said while looking at my hands around her shoulder.

I directly get my hands and raise it "Sorry, nadadala lang" I said jokingly.

"Siguro nga at mag-asawa tayo pero baka nakalimutan o hindi mo alam na black belter tong asawa mo" Kylie said while smiling devilishly.

Now, now, I made a wrong move. Baka sa akin pa ipakita nito ang pagiging black belter nito.

"Nagsosorry na nga ang tao eh" pagpapacute ko sa kanya.

Well let's say that this kind of things always works at her.

I saw her smiling and I know she was trying to make herself not to laugh. She composed herself and said "Ru, you look stupid"

I frowned "Stupid talaga? Aray Ky, ha? Nagkaamnesia ka lang ang mean mo na. Samantala noon gustong-gusto mo ang mga moves na ito"

"Maybe before I was that madly inlove with you" sambit ni Kylie sa akin pero hindi siya nakatingin sa akin.

"Ngayon hindi na ba?"

Napalingon siya sa akin ngunit nakikita ko sa mukha niya na nagulat siya sa sinabi ko.

"Sorry Ru, I didn't mean to say those things" Kylie said and as smiled at me awkwardly.

Maybe she blurted things out unconciously. Maybe that's what she is currently feeling right now. That right at this moment, she isn't the Kylie who is madly in love with me but the Kylie who treats me a mere stranger and just a co-star like how she treats me back then.
