I was smiling while I am looking at my son who is bidding goodbye to his friends outside the campus.

It was my usual thing since I arrive in the Philippines to look at him secretly. Ito na yata ang nagiging hobby ko pagpatak ng five o' clock ang tignan siya sa malayuan.

Gusto ko sanang lapitan siya, gusto ko sanang yakapin at makausap siya pero wala akong lakas ng loob para gawin ang lahat ng gusto ko kay Kiel.

"Mommy?"

Napatingin ako sa gilid ko para tignan si Bullet "Yes, baby?"

"Why are we here again?"

I smiled at him as I look at Kiel as he rides the service car that Ruru always send to fetch him.

"We are here to see Kuya Kiel baby"

His eyes widen "Talaga? Kuya Kiel is here?" as his lips formed into a smile.

I nod

"Where is he?" excited na tanong niya sa akin "Can we go down?" tanong niya sa akin at nagpuppy eyes.

"No, Bullet we can't go down, your Kuya Kiel is going home"

Nakita ko sa mukha niya ang kalungkutan "Can't we give him a lift?"

"I do want it too baby, but Kuya Kiel has already ridden the car"

"Ow" he said as he look down.

I can see the sadness and disappointment in his eyes.

Hinaplos ko ang mukha niya dahilan para mapatingin siya sa akin "B, don't you worry, we're going to see Kuya Kiel soon, I promise"

He nod at sinubukan na ngumiti "Let's go na Mommy? I'm excited to see Ate Ziel"

He sounds excited meeting her Ate Ziel for the first time.

Napangiti ako at tumango at nagsimulang magdrive. Ion ko ang music player sa kotse para may ibang tunog bukod sa boses namin ni Bullet.

"Mommy isn't it rude?"

"What is rude?"

"I didn't bring anything for Ate Ziel, I was thinking if we could bring her a cake but I don't know what she likes, baka ayaw niya sa pinili ko na flavor and I'm afraid that she would hate me for that"

Huminto ako sa pagdadrive mabuti na lang at red light kaya may pagkakataon ako para tignan si Bullet at inayos ko ang nakaharang na buhok sa mukha niya.

"B, Ate Ziel won't hate you just because you bought a cake that she doesn't like but you're right she would feel better if you bought her the cake she loves"

"So can we stop over somewhere mommy and buy her a cake? Help me choose please"

"Alright" I said while smiling and focus my attention on the road.

Ezekiel

"Hi Tita" I said when I opened the car as I get inside and I kiss Tita Sophia's cheeks.

"How's your day, sweetheart?" she asked me as she maneuvers the steering wheels.

"It's good actually, I played soccer with my friends during p.e. time"

"That's good to hear, going back to your usual hobby huh?" nakangiting sabi nito habang nakafocus ang attention niya sa harapan.

"Bakit nga po pala ikaw yung nagsundo sa akin? Si Manong po pala?"
