Isang Katulad Mo

Adah

Pagkaupo ko palang ay dinaluhan na kaagad ako ni Brylle. Sa bakanteng upuan sa harapan ko siya umupo saka ako hinarap.

"Adah, I'm so sorry about what happened earlier. Sorry din kay Ron. Concern lang kasi siya sa'kin. Pero wag kang matakot, hindi naman yun basagulero. Kalimutan mo nalang ang sinabi niya. Alam ko naman na hindi ka pa handa, I totally understand that. I can wait, you know? I hope you didn't change your mind being friends with me." He explained kahit hindi ko naman hinihingi 'yon.

"Ayos lang. I didn't." Ngiti ko nalang.

It's not that I don't like him, pero... if he wants to be friends with me, then he should act like one. Tulad nga ng sabi ko, I'm not up for somethin' else.

"Great!" Masaya niyang sabi. Bumaling na ako sa labas ng bintana at hindi na nagsalita. "Uhm... balik na ako." Paalam niya. Tinanguan ko lang siya.

Our first week went smoothly and now finally, it's Friday. In a span of four days, I got to know the best people in the world! Zendaya's group of friends, remember? They're all such wonderful individuals. 

"Adah, over here." Tawag ni Sophie nang mapadaan sila sa table namin. Napa buntong hininga ako.

"Here comes the witch again." Bulong ni Zeya who you already know is a bit boyish. She's my sister, brother, twin, and girlfriend all at the same time. My bestest friend to make it short.

Yesterday, I joined my new buddies for lunch instead of going with Sophie. She didn't like it, obviously but I thought to myself that maybe I should start being independent and have my own group of friends. Hindi naman pwedeng sa lahat ng oras sa school ay parang aso lang ako na nakasunod sa pinsan ko kasama ang mga kaibigan niya. I should have a life of my own, right?

"Hindi niya ba nakikitang kumakain yung tao?" Reklamo ni Aian, the only guy in our group... well not really. Gay kasi siya. Pero hindi mo 'yon mahahalata kung hindi mo sasadyaing pansinin. He's not hiding it pero hindi niya rin naman ipinangangalandakan.

"It's fine." Sinimulan ko nang ayusin at buhatin ang mga gamit ko.

"Kita nalang tayo sa classroom." Ani Genella or as we call her 'Ate Ella'. She's matured, very kind, probably the loveliest girl I know. Malawak ang pang unawa niya and she's also very easy to talk to.

"Puntahan ko lang. Sorry." Tinanguan nila ako.

"Later." Last is Althea. If Zeya is boyish, then Thea is definitely the girly one. She likes to dance and I believe member siya ng drama club dito sa school along with Aian.

Sumunod ako kila Sophie at saka tumabi na sa kanya. Unfortunately, hindi magkasundo ang grupong napili kong pakisamahan at ang grupo ni Sophie. It's not hard to figure out why. Kita naman ang pagkakaiba ng mga pag-uugali nila. My cousin's friends are a bit too much to their liking, at medyo hindi pa marunong rumespeto. Mapang insulto pa! Ibang iba kila Zeya.
