"Adah Alcantara!" Naputol ang pagtitinginan namin ni Prince nang tinawag ako ni Miss Martinez. "I am so glad to see you here!" Malaki ang ngiting bati niya paglapit.
"Ako din po, Miss M." Biglang ngiti ko.
Inexcuse ng mga kaibigan ko ang sarili nila't hinayaan kaming makapag usap ni Miss.
"So! Are you here to officially join our club?" Miss M.
"Pwede pa po ba?" Nahihiya kong sabi. "I'm so sorry it took me a month to come."
"It's fine, hija! This is only our first big school production in the drama club this school year kaya kahit pumunta ka pa right after the contest ay wala 'yong ipagbabago. In fact, you almost hit the perfect timing!" Miss M.
"Po?"
"Yesterday was actually the audition for the roles." Lumawak ang ngiti niya nang makita ang gulat ko saka dinugtungan ang sinasabi. "But you're not yet too late. "Hindi naman po gaano hehe. By the way, pwede ring mag audition kahit hindi po member ng drama club?"
"Pwede naman, but of course kailangan niya nang magpamember after. Like you!" Miss M.
Ahhh. Okay.
"Uhm, tungkol saan nga po pala yung play?"
"Ah! We're gonna do a musical play of Florante at Laura. So most probably, ang gaganapan mo ay si Laura, ang anak ni Haring Linceo na siya ring sinisinta ni Florante." Miss M.
Nashock ako't natigilan, pero pilit paring pinanatili ang ngiti.
