"Girls." We turned to Kuya Dylan who knocked on the open door of my room to get our attention. "Lolo's asking for you. Bumaba na raw kayo."

"Shoot! Oo nga pala." Hinarap muli ako ni Sophie. "We have visitors. Magbihis ka na saka bumaba. And lock the door while changing, Adah. How many times do I have to remind you." Irap niya saka na lumabas at siya na din mismo ang nag lock ng pinto.

Gulat at namamangha kong tinignan si lolo. I'm aware he is a very influential person but I didn't know it is to this great extent!

I faced the guests again.

"Wow. It's a pleasure to meet you Sir, Ma'am." I said, thrilled by their presence in front of me.

"So are we, sweetie. We never thought you are this beautiful! And your grandfather here mentioned you're a very talented kid. You're a singer he says?"

"ASPIRING singer palang po." I corrected, since I'm still not a professional yet. "I really enjoy performing in front of a crowd."

"Uh... I've only joined multiple school plays, back in California. I really don't have that much experience so I can't really say I'm already great at it, can I?" Natutuwa kong sabi.
