i miss you every. single. day. why did you have to leave me? you were my bestfriend and you left me before i could confess my feelings to you. i know, cliche. but how could anyone not fall for you, ethan? you were and still are smarter than anyone i know. you had the kindest heart out of anyone on this planet. you were endlessly fascinated by the littlest things and it was adorable. your eyes would scrunch up when you smiled and it made me giddy for no reason at all. your cheeks would turn a dark shade of pink any time you got embarrassed, even if it was about the dumbest thing. our late night talks, when 1 am arrived too quickly. your need to workout and my excuse to hang out with you longer turned into our hobby and i couldn't have been happier. you made me laugh uncontrollably with the cheesiest jokes. your laugh was sometimes extremely loud and full of life or a quiet little chuckle, both equally lovable and contagious. when you made me laugh even if i wanted to cry a minute earlier. i've fallen for every second i've gotten to spend with you, even though those seconds have seemed to disappear. you have left me wishing for just a few more seconds of your time. just a few more seconds to see your smile or hear you laugh. just one. last. time.
