ethan and grayson were over at your house to film a video.
they needed your backyard to carve pumpkins because of the mess of the slimy pumpkin guts.
"hey y/n, can you be in the video and carve a pumpkin. grayson is going to judge who's is the best" ethan says
you smile "sounds like fun"

"on your marks..get set...go" grayson yells
you pick up you carving tool and glance at ethan who was sitting in front of you. he smiles before stabbing the tool into his pumpkin. you laugh and begin to carve a ghost.
after 30 minutes of carving, grayson yells 'stop'
ethan and you drop your tools, staring at each other intensely before laughing.
"okay on the count of three, reveal your pumpkins to each other. one..two...three"
you turn your pumpkin towards ethan as he turns his towards you.
the five words that are carved into his pumpkin take your breath away

you look up into his hazel green eyes and see a defeated look covering his beautiful face
"yes" you whisper
he perks up and looks at you excitedly "really?"
you nod and laugh "yes, yes, yes"
he jumps up from the table and picks you up, spinning you around in his arms. you laugh and look down at him. he leans in and you lean in the rest of the way. your lips touch and butterflies erupt in your stomach
he sets you back down on the ground and looks down at you "i've had the biggest feelings for you for as long as i can remember. grayson is the one who kept nagging me to ask you out"
you hug ethan and look at grayson who is standing by the camera, smiling at the two of you
"thank you" you mouth to him
"your welcome" he mouths back
at that moment, everything was right in your world
