y/n sits and waits for her date to show up
good thing it was in a coffee shop and doesn't look obvious that she got stood up
but she doesn't let that ruin her day
instead, she happily sips on her coffee as she reads her book, contently glancing outside every so often
a guy suddenly sits in front of y/n, grabbing her attention
she looks up from her book and sees a muscular guy, wearing a black leather jacket and sunglasses
she rolls her eyes and turns her attention back to her book
"hey sweet thang" he says
"go away" she says, not taking her eyes off the page
"you're going to regret that" he mutters before walking away
she sighs a breath of relief before engrossing herself back into her book
at the other side of the coffee shop, ethan is nervously looking at his brother
"are you sure? what if she rejects me like that other guy?" he asks, now hesitant about joining the beautiful girl across the room
his twin brother, grayson, rolls his eyes "that guy was an asshole, ethan"
ethan nods, finding a small ounce of confidence in himself before walking over
"u-um can i s-sit there?" he asks
y/n looks up from her book and smiles "sure"
she puts her book down as the cute stranger sits across from her
he's tall and slim
he's wearing am orange and blue stripped shirt that looks adorable on him
he has short dark hair and a thick pair of glasses resting on his nose
"what's your name?" she asks
"e-ethan" he says with pink cheeks "w-what's yours?"
she smiles "y/n"
he nods "that's p-pretty"
"thank you" she says with tinted pink cheeks
he blushes "your welcome"
y/n looks outside, a person catching her attention
she puts her head down as he walks in and over to her
"y/n, who the hell is this?" he asks, pissed
she looks up "why do you care? you stood me up"
he slams his hands down on the table
"well i'm here now, so ditch him" he spits
y/n rolls her eyes "get lost brad and don't contact me ever again"
