Snow's POV

I slowly opened my eyes, groaning at the intense light which was being shone at me. As I began to become aware of my surroundings, I Sensed that Lucinda was hovering nearby, muttering to herself like usual. I whimpered and sat up, pain striking down my neck from my head. Then my memory came back, the amulet, the green gem, the cloaked man...

As soon as I moved, Lucinda was standing over me, fussing about me. "Snow! Oh thank god you okay! What happened to you?" I mumbled to myself before speaking. "I'm not entirely sure...but how long have I been out?" Lucinda looked at the floor, her eyes tired but relieved. "About 3 days...we were worried you were in a coma...I tried all sorts of spells and things on you, but nothing worked. Garroth's has been freaking out and feeling so guilty for letting you go in alone. Aaron has taken him away upstairs to help take the wooden boards off the doors so we can take a look inside. Snow...can I just ask...what do you remember...and if possible, do you remember where you were knocked unconscious? Tell me everything you can."

I squeezed my eyes right shut, trying to remember what had happened from the beginning. "Well...I came inside and it was dark. The first place I explored was upstairs but there was only one room within reach that wasn't boarded up. And it was slightly open, as if someone had rushed out only seconds before. There wasnt much inside, only a bed and a set of side drawers, but I found something." I pulled out the amulet from inside the neck of my jumper "this was tucked into the back of one of the draws. It looks old but not the sort of old you would find in an old abandoned lodge, this has been looked after, the pendant was polished. But after that, I came back downstairs, walked across the lobby and into the kitchen-dining area. Everything was in place and it was silent. I searched the kitchen but all the cabinets were completely empty apart from some really old plates and stuff. The odd thing was, there was no dust OR dirt, it was like someone had been searching for something. After that, I sat down before I realised, I hadn't checked the wood oven, so I tried looking inside of it from the distance away that I was. It took a while but a saw a green glimmer, like a gem or something. I opened the oven and I guess I let my guard down because as I tried to take the gem out, someone must have creeped up behind me and hit me over the head with a blunt object. But I don't know how, usually I can feel the pressure of the air change if someone enters a room, but this time I felt nothing...it's like they appeared. But anyway, before I fell completely unconscious, I caught a glimpse of the person, they took the gem, but they were dressed in complete black, cloak and hood. Judging by their size I would say they were a guy...but why would someone do that...and who were they...?"

Lucinda had a puzzled look set apon her face, like she was processing all i had told her. She nodded slowly, speaking as she was thinking. "That doesnt add up! Snow we found you lying intop of the gas fireplace, im a really odd position. So the person who knocked you out, must have moved you there and put you into that position...but i dont understand why...Snow can i borrow the amulet you found for a while, i want to investigate more into this." I nodded a 'yes' and untied the small bow i had tied at the back.

I passed the amulet into her open hand, and she looked down at if. "Interesting...im going to have to do a little reading to find out more about this. But for now, snow you nedc rest. You have bern unconscious for 3 days, haaling for another couple of days wont hurt. Now eat your food, drink plenty and try and get some sleep. Ill notify you if i find anything." And with that, she disappeared with the amulet in her hand.
