Snow's POV
The journey to the lodge was hell. There were five of us, however the car only fitted 4, meaning that it was super cramped. The seating positions inside the car were as follows; Aaron and Lucinda were sat in the front, while me And Garroth were sat in the back, Kim sat in the middle on the little drinks thing, but it wasn't too bad. We had a lot of fun annoying Lucinda by repeatedly asking 'are we there yet' she got very annoyed and threatened to freeze us into a block of ice, so I looked at her and raised my eyebrows "Lucinda, you know you can't use my own tricks against me" she rolled her eyes. "Usually it's me saying that!" We both laughed and returned to what we had been doing before.
It took hours before we arrived at the lodge. None of us packed much, but I packed the least because I'm a werewolf, which means I don't feel the cold like humans do.
We got out of the car, thankful for a moment to stretch our legs and move around. I grabbed my bag and zipped up my winter sweater, glad to have it to keep out the cold. I turned back to face the others, just as Lucinda started to speak. "Right so...this lodge is really old...it might not even be in a fit condition to hold people...who is going to go in first?" I instantly stepped froward and spoke "ill go. Im a werewolf so my reflexes are a lot quicker than humans and my vision in the dark is better too. If anything dangerous is inside...ill sense it" Garroth was shaking his head and everyone apart from Lucinda looked unsure but they didn't have time to complain because Lucinda closed the conversation. "Okay, its settled. Snow, you go and look around while we get everything ready to take inside." We all dispersed and Garroth grabbed my hand. "Stay safe Snow..." I nodded and bounded over to the door. Leaning over, i dug my hands into the thick snow, searching for the key. Once I found it, I placed it into the key hole, and turned it. It opened with a satisfying 'click'. Pushing open the large oak door, I step inside.
