*Misterias POV*

I couldn't believe my eyes. It had been more than 5 minutes since Snow had dropped to the floor and transformed back into her human form, blood pooling around her. Then her life force faded away, she was gone. Well that's what we all thought. Garroth had held her in his arms and kissed her forehead, trying to stay strong. Aaron stood beside him, guilt weighing him him down while he tried to comfort Kim. I was the only other person in the room, the most physical injured but mentally stable. Snow had come for me, but faced with a wolf, I had frozen with fear.

I could feel myself shaking with fear and sadness as I stared down at Snow who lay limp and lifeless in Garroth's arms. I never would have thought this would be the way she would die. But really... it wasn't.

Like before when her life force was leaving her body, the amulet had lit up with three lights, one each in the head, neck and body. But this time, it only lit up with two, the light which had been in the head was gone.

It wasn't long before the amulet faded again, but once it faded, there was life in Snow's body once more. I couldn't believe my eyes... Snow was alive!

*Snows POV*

As I slowly opened my eyes, the world around me took shape and focused. I was laying in a pool of blood, two arms wrapped around me. I pushed them away and crawled back so I could see them all. Misty, Garroth, Aaron and Kim stood around, staring at me. I had to find a way to get out of here and get back to Ryan and Alpha... I had taken too much time here already. They were watching me, wife eyed and silent... why? Garroth was the first to speak. "Snow... I'm so glad your okay... I-I thought you died... I'm so sorry... know that I always love you." He reached towards me but I backed away. What was he going on about... didn't he know of my love with Ryan? At my movement, hurt struck his eyes. "What was that for? Garroth you know I love Ryan and as much as I love you as a friend... there would never be anything like that between us!"

For the first time, his ocean eyes looked grey, as if my words and driven the colour out of them. He reached out again. "Snow..." Misteria stepped forward and grabbed his arm, stopping him. She shook her head when she spoke. "Stop it Garroth, this isn't the same Snow you fell in love with. Think about it, just before this she attacked us and would have killed us if Aaron hadn't stopped her, that's not what Snow is like. And also look at her eyes... they are green, not her usual crystal blue... I fear the same thing has happened to her as it has with Lucinda and Zane... Wait! Hold on! Ryan is here?!!"

Her calming expression and gentle voice changed in the blink of an eye. Misty was usually calm, or close to it, but now she was compressing the rage she felt inside of her body. I backed off further, her anger scaring me. I felt like I was a puppy, surrounded and trapped by so many larger dogs. I backed away as far as I could go, but Misty kept on coming. She grabbed my shoulders and stared into my eyes. "Where is Ryan? I swear if he is the one who has done this to you, I'm going to kill him." My back pressed against the wall, catching the stab wound. I was alive but it had not been healed. I yelp, my face screwing up in pain. At that she backed off slightly, allowing me the space to run.

I bolted around them as fast as my legs would take me. I was driven on by fear and pain and confusion. Nothing made sense to me. Why had Garroth said e loved me? What did Misty have again Ryan? I shook the thoughts away, the only thing I needed to focus on was relaying this news back to Ryan.

*Ryans POV*

What is taking her so long! All she needed to do was kill them! Or at least hurt them! That guy Aaron was who Alpha wanted, but I wanted Snow's boyfriend, Garroth. He was just going to get in the way of my plans, but I wanted to be there when she broke his heart and killed him! Oh the pleasure! I can't wait until the moment comes, then he will finally get what he deserves.

*Snows POV*

It took a good 15 minutes of running before I reached the cabin. I slammed open the doors, my tired limbs tripping me up as I fell inside. Ryan rushed over to me, crouching down and shaking my shoulders. "Snow. Snow did you do your job? Did you?!" I couldn't seem to form words but I just managed to not my head. My breath was fast and uneven. Ryan ran his hand through my knotted hair, grinning slyly down at me. "Good girl, none of them are dead but at least they have been weakened. Now for the real fun!"
