*Misterias POV*

I opened my eyes and sat up. The room around me seemed unfamiliar at first but then everything came back to me. I had been searching for a week with the three children to find their baby brother, and we had got back late the previous night.

At the end of the bed, lay the three children, curled around each other to form a pile of peaceful bodies. I smiled as I looked at them. I needed to get them to Snow, they wanted to see her.

As I got to my feet, I pushed back my long purple hair and sighed. I had gotten little sleep that night. I turned slowly to the caged basket. Silently inside, lay a baby.

Snow had yet to find out that me and Kim had returned with the children and their brother. It had taken awhile and we had started to loose faith, but we found him. He had been hidden deep inside a cave buried beneath a pile of snow. But however hard we had tried, we couldn't find a key to the cage.

I picked up my comb and ran it quickly through my hair. It caught on the knots and yanked my head when doing so. I winced a few times but if want too bad. My skin still burned from the cold and my heart ached. Without glancing back to check on the children, I sneaked out the door and down the hall.

When I got to Snows room, I pushed open the door which had hung partly adrift. Snow stood near the bed, leaning down to something. However as soon as she saw me come in, she rushed over and threw her arms around me. It was comforting to feel her presence but it didn't change the aching guilt and sorrow I felt in my heart. Aaron was in a critical condition and Aphmau was blaming herself. But one thing at a time.

I stepped back from Snow and pulled on a slight smile. "Hey Snow... How is Aaron?" She sighed and shrugged. "Still uncontrollable of his ultima form and unconscious. Aphmau hasn't seen him yet because it's too dangerous for her to enter since she is a human. I have been giving her updates about him which have helped slow down her grieving but I'm not sure how long she can last..."

I nodded my head. I could only imagine the pain she must feel in her heart. She hurt him and was conscious of it... poor girl. But again, another bigger problem at hand. "Snow... I found the children's brother... but he is inside a locked cage... any clue how to get it unlocked? We couldn't find a key." She looked up at me then nodded. "I have an idea, let me just grab Garroth and I'll be right in." And then she hurried off.

I waited in my room for almost 20 minutes. The children slowly woke up, one by one and sat beside me. They wanted to see their brother free, and to thank Snow for saving them.

Then finally, Snow entered the room, Garroth behind her. He looked to be holding something in his arms, but I couldn't make out what it was. As soon as Snow walked in, the three children ran over to her. They wrapped their small arms around her, speaking all together. "Thank you for saving us Snow... we didn't think anyone would want us now we are this..." the way they said that made it sound so much worse than I had expected.

Snow smiled at them, bending down to pull them all closer. "Look here you guys, I will always make sure you are safe. And, even though you aren't proper wolf cubs... I have a way so that you can still experience some of the life you were born to have. You are my siblings now, and I promise to look after you and give you a good life, okay?" They all smiled up at her, which seemed to brighten up the whole room. They had been through so much yet they were still angels inside.

Snow stood back up and grinned at them. "Now, you three sneak downstairs into the kitchen and get some cookies okay? Make very little sound because you don't want to disturb the guests." That made them all jump up and turn to the door, running out and down the stairs. Snow smiled and shook her head.

"So..." I said, breaking the silence, "What is your plan to get him out?" Snow stepped forward and picked up a bottle from the floor. "This is. I found it in the cage, Lucinda had made it. It turns metals into liquid." I smiled and shook my head. She always had such amazing ideas.

Without hesitation, she threw the bottle onto the cage. It shattered and a large piece of glass landed on Snow. She picked it up and put it in her pocket. The potion took effect and the metal started to melt, almost like it was water. Before seconds, it was completely gone.

I reached down and picked up the baby. Something clicked inside of me. I felt the heat of the child and heard his breathing. I couldn't let him go...
