Dangers in the Dark

*Snows POV*

The cage which confined me was hardly strong enough to hold me back. Lucinda and Zane were back with Aphmau, and soon if would be my turn to get revenge.

I threw myself at the bars, screaming and shouting, my rage uncontrollable, my body tired and hardly conscious. Anger filled my whole body, all they had done to me, keeping me away from who I truly was! No matter what they told me, they never really saw me as a human. And now that would be their downfall.

Ryan and brother walked into the room, silently. Brother held a key within his hand, gripping his fingers around it. Ryan pressed his face against the bars, reaching in to grab my hand and pull me closer to him. He spoke slowly, making sure I heard what he said correctly. "It's time Snow, this is what you have been waiting for. Get on with the task and do not get distracted!" I nodded and he opened the cage. I pushed passed and ran, full pelt out of the building. I passed Lucinda and Zane who were hold back a screaming Aphmau, but I had no time for them. My mission was simple, get in, dispose of everyone apart from Aaron, and get out. This was going to be a piece of cake!

The house in what I had stayed with Ryan and brother, was well away from the lodge, so it took a good 20 mins of running before I even caught sight of it.

Once my eyes locked onto the large decaying building, I was enraged. No longer in control of my body - if I had been in the first place - I shifted to my wolf form and sped on, tongue lolling from my mouth, ears pinned back and tail flying. My fur was a pure white, hardly noticeable due to the thick layer of snow which covered the ground and the canopy of leaves that stood high above me.

I skidded to a halt in front of the lodge, my guard rising. The doors were open, and there didn't seen to be any sound coming from inside. Creeping forward, I stuck my head around the door frame. Soon I spotted them. Kim, Aaron, Garroth and Misty, all standing there, backs facing me. They were weak and unprotected, but I wasn't going to rush this. I wanted to kill them one by one, taste their blood, smell glorious scent of revenge.

The lights of the lodge where out and they were shrouded in darkness. Little did they know about the danger which lurked in the darkness, hunting them out one by one. I will start will Misty, the one who was always trying to make me think she was my friend, I good person, but she is just like the rest of them! Now I'm ready for this...

I prowled forwards, keeping my head low and growling. My eyes flowed green in the darkness. They spun around, guards raised. My ivory teeth were bared, just to allow them the knowledge of my power, before I get to them. Then I stopped, standing completely still on the spot, still low and still growling. Let's let them run for a bit...

*Mistys POV*

A wolf? How had that got in here? I dare not ask, for it is not gentle in any way. The wolf was made of pure aggression, most likely to have been enraged by the humans who were here before us. I just hope the wolf doesn't do anything rash.

*Snows POV*

I let them stand still for a few minutes. Thankfully they weren't dumb enough to move. But when there is a circus, you need a ring leader, and that was me. Time's up!

I pounced, leaping forward, bolting towards Misty. Within her hand she gripped a staff which she held up, saying something in witchcraft which I didn't understand nor wanted to listen. Something shot towards me, but I jumped to the left as swiftly as a cat. My body slid and smashed into a wall, but I quickly got up and used the wall to push off.

That gave me the upper hand, allowing me to fly through the air and land square in front of Misty. I pushed her down, using my strength to pin her to the floor while I took a bite at her shoulder. Blood oozed onto my fur, straining it a crimson pink. Hmph she is too weak to attack, time to take a chip off one of the others.

I spun on my heals, eyeing the other three who stood near. Kim was shaking and Aaron stood in front of her, blocking her from my path. Noticing this I turned to look at Garroth. He was unprotected and in easy reach of me. I pounced.

He was a lot easier to pin down since he didn't struggle as much. I dug my claws into his chest and pushed down, hard. My green eyes glowed with triumph as I went to bite at his neck, but my eyes locked onto his and I stopped.

The side of my I tried to lock away, to let it be contained and restrained by the emerald inside of me...it was there. The emerald had lost its power for a second and everything faded back to what it had been before... my mind was jumbled and I just stood still, pinning him down and staring.

My mind was still jumbled when I felt a sharp pain dig into my back. I snarled and spun around, clawing and snapping. Aaron was there, standing, knife in hand, smothered in blood. My blood. My fur stained more then, covered in my fresh blood, alongside Misty's dry blood. A second passed of everything as normal, then the world around me started to spin, I felt weak and dizzy.

I stepped away from Garroth, allowing him the space to get up. I fell, laying on my side, weak and tired, bleeding from the stab wound. I tried to lash out, my mind in two places, one trapped and one enraged. I could no longer control my actions, and so as I fell into an unconscious slumber, I changed back and lay on the floor as my human self once more, ears and tail hidden.

Everyone crowed around me, and I felt a hand stroke my face. Then a soft, gentle voice followed. "Snow? Snow please hold on, we will get help." It was Garroth. He sounded close to tears and I didn't know weather to feel pain or anger. As my eyes drifted ever closer to closing, the wolf amulet which I had discovered when we first arrived at the lodge, glowed from three places. The head, the body and the neck. Then one glow stopped dead, leaving only two green lights flickering.

Before the darkness surrounded me, I looked into Garroths eyes once more. His eyes...the ocean...water...the sensation of drowning...I was a child again...
