To reopen a passageway

I stared around the large open area, confused of where I was. I saw Aphmau standing near so I tried to run towards her, but it was like my feet were glued to the spot. I could only watch as she stood over a body, tears streaming down her face. I didn't realise who it was until I saw the long black werewolf tail with red tip. AARON! I screamed out his name but everything was gone.

I opened my eyes and shot forward, sitting up and breathing heavily. My eyes darted around the room and for a moment I felt disoriented and confused, but then everything settled.

"Snow? What's wrong?" I turned to see Garroth sitting on one of the couches nearby. I shook my head and swung my legs over the side of the couch and leaned forward. "Just... a bad dream... anyway how long have I been asleep?"

As I pushed myself up, my legs felt like jelly. I wobbled and slipped back down. Garroth grabbed my arm and pulled me up, steadying me with a hand behind me back. "Only about an hour... guess it didn't take you as long to get your energy back, huh?" I shook my head and smiled slightly.

"Guess not... but where is everyone else? All I remember before I fell asleep is Kim dragging Aaron away... where are they?" Garroth shrugged. "I'm not, entirely sure," he started, "but I think they are trying to find the way into the secret passage."

I looked at him, confused. "Excuse me what? A secret passageway? Since when!" He laughed slightly. "Well if you hadn't of kept running off and being a hero then you would have found it with us. Well when Zane went missing we basically traced Zane's footprints into a wall which we found out to be a secret passageway. It lead into a small room filled with all types of potions... Aaron thinks that's where we can find a potion to reverse the effects."

My mouth shot open. I wasn't sure if we were talking about the same short period of time we had been at lodge. "Well... I seem to have missed a lot... shall we go find them? I think my legs have found their ground now." He took his arm away from my back slowly and nodded. He lead the way slowly up the creaky wooden staircase as I followed behind.

Once we reached the room, i could tell they had been working hard. The door to the passageway was wide open and the doorway was completely clear. I looked at the passageway and smirked. Aaron and Kim turned around as we walked in. "Oh hey guys." Aaron said as we got up from kneeling on the floor. "S-snow... your eyes... they are green..." I suddenly snapped out of staring at the passageway and turned to look at Aaron. "What...?"

Tried to shield myself, embarrassed. Kim like she was deep in thought. "Snow must still be under the influence of the forever potions slightly... tell me Snow, how did you break free from them?" I thought back for a moment. The anger built up in me again as I thought about it. "Ryan was threatening Garroth with a knife... that's what made me break free..." Kim nodded her head. "I see... well you seem to not have completely broken free from it... but that might not be a bad thing... we will just have to see how it plays out..."

Just then Misty walked into the room, her arms full of books. "Guys! I found these books on potions and within one of them was this!" She held up and emerald which shined with raw power. Aaron nodded, a determined smile set upon his face. "That's perfect! We have 2 emeralds! Now we just been to find Lucinda and the antidote. Let's do this guys!"

I flicked my ears and nodded. "Lets do this. Ein and Ryan... you're going down!" And with that I grabbed Garroth's arm and raced after the others who were already racing down the passageway.
