Aphmaus mother

*Snows POV*

My eyes flickered closed, as silence surrounded me. It had been a busy day, and for the last few nights, I hadn't got any sleep. Even just closing my eyes briefly seemed like a weight had been lifted off of my shoulders, but just as I felt peaceful, the distant cry of a baby forced me awake.

I sat up and rubbed my eyes for a moment, then got to my feet and walked over to the makeshift crib. Inside the crib lay a baby. Tears streamed down her tiny face and she flailed her arms around wildly. I sigh and pick her up. "Just one day of peace and quiet... that's all I ask..."

Just as I sit down, Aphmau walks into the room. As soon as she sees me, she rushes over, smiling eagerly at Rosie. Aphmau was my new babysitter and she was always to excited when she saw Rosie, and Rosie loved the attention. I didn't complain, it gave me a break and took Aphmaus mind off Aaron.

As Aphmau sat down, i passed Rosie to her and instantly flopped down onto the couch. This was my time to get some sleep. However, luck was not in my favour. Just as I my head down, the door burst open.

I curled my body up and ran my fingers through my long, matted hair. My ears and tail were away to stop Aphmau the hassle of worrying about Aaron.

I sat up to see Aphmaus mother and another man with blue hair standing by the door. Aphs mom, Sylvanna, had been great friends with my mom when we lived in mystreet, but they lost touch once we moved away. Sylvanna was staring at Aph and Rosie, surprise set upon her face. I quickly turned to Aph and took Rosie from her, to stop too many weird questions her way.

At my movement, Sylvanna looked at me, puzzled for a moment but then instant recognition shone on her face. She rushed over and threw her arms around the both of us. "Aphmau! Snowella! Oh sorry, it's just Snow now isn't it. It's to great to see you. But wait.. is this adorable bundle yours?"

I grinned up at her and nodded. "It's great to see you Sylvanna, and yes. This is Rosie. Say hello." Rosie let out a cute giggle which made Sylvanna give her goo goo eyes. I really forgot how much Sylvanna loves babies.

"So then Snow, who is the father? Is her a werewolf! Awe that would be so cute! Or maybe mief~wa? Oh please do tell me!" Sylvanna was bursting with excitement, grabbing onto Aphmau and hugging her. "Oh and Snow, this is Eric. He is my boyfriend." I smiled at him as he stepped closer. He seemed familiar. "It's nice to meet you. Oh and Sylvanna, Rosie's father is-" but I was cut off.

Garroth shoves his head round the door and looked around. When he saw me, he waved me over but then saw Sylvanna and came in. He smiled at her. "Hello Sylvanna, it's great to see you again. Oh here Snow, I got this for Rosie." He passes me a bottle of warm milk and kisses me on the forehead. "Thanks Garroth, But can you take Rosie quickly, I need to go and get something from upstairs. I'll only be two seconds then you can get back to front desk or whatever you were doing." He takes my space on the couch and I pass Rosie to him, kissing him then Rosie. "I'll be quick, I promise." He shrugs and grins. "Take your time, it's not like we are too busy at the moment, anyway, I'm on a break so I could see you and Rosie." As I turn to walk upstairs, I smile.

I quickly walk inside and close the door gently. I grab Aaron's mom and pull her to the side gently. "I just thought I should tell you that Aphmaus mom is here. She may try to see Aaron but I'll hold her back if she does. Just a heads up." She nods quickly and walks over to Aaron's Dad. Without hesitation, I turn to walk out.

As I re-enter the room, Sylvanna asks me a question that I wished I had thought of.m an answer to. I had tried pushing it away as much as possible, until I knew what was right for both of us. "Awe, you and Garroth are so sweet together. So you guys are a couple then? You must be blessed to have such a beautiful daughter between you." For a moment I stop and just stare at Garroth. I have no clue what to say. But what he said surprised me slightly. "Yes." He said gently, "we are blessed to have her."

As I was about to walked to Garroth, Sylvanna piped up again. "So How is Aaron?" I could see the pain in Aphmaus eyes. She sighed and shrugged slightly. "I'm... not sure.. I haven't seen him since the doctors arrived last week... I'm worried about him." That's when the tension set in.
