Snow's POV

After that little incident, Lucinda was watching me more carefully, but not fussing over me. It has been about 2 days and I had been well rested. Now it was time for me to do my part of the deal. Since the early morning I had been removing the planks of wood which boarded the windows. Then I moved onto some of the doors.

Most rooms were either empty or full of dusty old junk. I sorted through anything I found, even more curious to find out more about the person who had hit me over the head. I was also curious about the amulet...could that have been what poisoned me? I shook the thought into the back of my head. It was no time to think about that. I needed to get on with the work, this lodge was huge and it has taken about a day to explore the first corridor of rooms, there are tons more to go.

I yawned and stretched, swiping my tail over the dusty boxes and sneezing whenever it went up my nose. "Bless you" I jumped at Aaron's voice from behind me. "Jeez Aaron! You scared me" he shrugged, looking a little awkward. "Sorry. But hey...snow...? Can I ask you something...?" I tilted my head and looked at him through my fringe. "Sure Aaron, ask away" he looked at the floor, seemingly going super shy. "Well...I was wondering...umm...your a werewolf and I studied them in highschool for a year and I was just wondering...how do you cope?"

"What do you mean Aaron?" He shrugged slightly, turning a light red "w-well...I know humans and werewolf don't used get on very well...how do you cope with that so well? What keeps you in control of your emotions and that side of you...?" I thought for a moment, trying to understand it myself. "Well I guess it's because I have just always been a human at heart. My whole life I lived as a human because my family was scared that I wouldn't be in control of my emotions after my father...left...and I grew to just be a human, I forgot the werewolf side of myself and until now, it's been hard to embrace that side, but I had everyone around me, you all supported me and made me feel safe. I guess that's why" he nodded, looked up at me and smiled. "Thanks snow, that really helped. If there is anything I can do for you in return for you help, I will" I grinned and gave him a sneaky look "well...I mean...I could always do with some help looking through these boxes..." he rolled his eyes, but didn't refuse. "Sometimes I swear your too much like aph, you two could literally be sisters. Are you taking lessons from her on how to annoy me?" I laughed but turned back to unpacking, which made him even more annoyed. "Ill take that as a yes"

We set to work searching through the rooms and all the junk they were filled with. We finished quicker when working together than I did alone, although we did mess around a little...hehe...

Lucinda's POV

I am still shocked by what Snow did...she healed herself! Completely! That's really strong magic to have...she must be one of the most powerful people in the world! I swear she is hiding something though...a normal werewolf shouldn't have that much power...but it's no time to think about that now. Me, Garroth and Kim were set the task of restoring the lobby, and so far it's going pretty good. Aaron went to talk wit snow a little while ago and i guess he stayed to help her because he said we wasn't going to be long.

So far we had go the fire and the central heating working, but we still had no wifi and were yet to visit the nearby town for food supplies.

I placed down the side of the table I had been carrying, and Garroth placed down the other side. Kim was the artsy one, so she planned were it should go, and we moved it. I'm glad we have her because Me and Garroth have no sense of design so we would just make a totally mess of it all. Which would probably be very funny, but that's besides the point.

We decided that the 3 of us needed a small break, so I threw my staff down and slouched on the sofa, tired and hungry. Kim came a placed herself next to me, wiping the paint off her hands. "So Kim, are the paintings ready?" She looked over to the small station she had set up and shook her head. "Not yet, the paint is taking longer to dry than I thought...and I am still hoping to restore some of the original paintings and features if they are in a good condition." I nodded and smiled. We talked for a while until Garroth came and then we decided it was time to get to work.

As I got to my feet, I heard a crash from behind. I spun round, my eyes settling upon the broken door, and standing in front of it, was a girl, leading two great wolves. We stood still for a moment, staring at each other. The wolves looked fierce, their eyes were never in one place, they were casted around the lodge, looking for any sign of movement. Then everything happened so fast, the girl swept up her arm and growled, the wolves took this as a sign to attack. I leapt for my staff but I was too slow, the bigger wolf of the two picked it up in his jaws and swung it behind him, out of reach from any of us. Kim was stuck still, shaking in fear. The wolves must have been inexperienced because the other one, which had a more black tint to its fur than the other, pounced forward, pushing Kim to the ground. I couldn't see how badly Kim was hurt, I couldn't only see Garroth as he pushed the wolf back, protecting Kim as much as possible. I couldn't make it to them without setting off the wolf which was guarding my staff. I could see the blood which was mounting up on the floor, from both Kim and Garroth, more from Garroth as he blocked the attacks which the wolf had been aiming at Kim. We were trapped.

Snow's POV

Me and Aaron worked fast, and managed to clear out all the rooms on the left side of the first corridor, however there were more to clear out on the right side and on the other corridors. I looked up, grabbed a piece of material, and flung it at Aaron. He looked up and raised his eyebrows "really? You aren't a p-" he was cut off by a loud crash that came from downstairs, which was soon followed by howls and growls. Aaron looked towards the door then back at me "haha, very funny." I focused on hearing my own breathing, trying to concentrate on the smells. New scents...WOLVES! I jumped up, running towards the door I threw it open. Aaron jumped back in shock "snow?! What the-" I cut him off, in a hurry to get downstairs "no time Aaron! The others are in danger! HURRY!" I bolted out of the room and down the corridor, Aaron following close behind.
