*Snows POV*

I raced down the passageway, following after the others. It got narrower and narrower as we continue to move forward, but suddenly I crashed to a sudden halt as a someone dragged me behind a stack of boxes.

I fell forward, landing on my stomach. The cold wet stone of the passage floor seeped through my jacket and t-shirt, sending shivers up my spine. I struggled to my feet and glared at Misty who had pulled me aside. She looked like she was about to burst out laughing, but managed to contain it. "Oops, sorry Snow! Didn't mean to make you land flat on your face but... Lucinda is just over there... we need a plan to distract her in order to make the potions."

I thought for a moment until the idea came to me. It was rather wild but it would be fun to try and pull off. I whispered to Misty. "Hey Misteria, do you by chance happen to have found any strength crystals or magic enhancing crystals?" She looked down and rummaged through her small bag of witchcraft items which had mostly belonged to Lucinda. Before long she brought out a small, glowing blue crystal and a larger red crystal.

"Here." She said as she placed them both into my hand. I grinned. "Perfect. Now Misty you know more about witchcraft than me so which is more reactive with magic stabilising crystals?" It took her a moment to measure out the question in her head but she quickly gave me the answer I needed. "That would be the strength crystal. Magic crystals put against another magic crystal means they cast out each others power so no reaction would happen. However magic crystals put against a crystal from another type would cause a pretty big reaction depending on the power levels. Lucinda taught me that as one of the first methods. But Snow I don't see what this has to do with distracting Lucinda and making the reverse potions. If we had a stabilising crystal then your plan may work but they are rare to come across and not even Lucinda had one!"

I grabbed hold of the large, red strength crystal and and pushed it into my pocket. With my hands now free I untangled my own beautiful purple crystal which hung around my neck. Misteria looked at me the whole time I was doing this, obviously confused and annoyed at the fact I wasn't giving her a straight answer. Once the necklace was untied, I rapped the leather chain around my wrist, making sure to keep the crystals far apart until the right moment. I turned on my heel and whispered to the others who were crouched behind a stack of boxes a little further away.

"Psst! Guys over here! I have a plan o distract Lucinda so you can make the potions. I have these two crystals, a strength and a magic stabilising crystal. If they touch, they can cause a reaction big enough to make even the most difficult magic usable. I'm going to use this and my own magic to hold back the potion side of Lucinda so she can read the recipe to you guys. You will need to hurry, I'm not sure how long I can hold her back. Everyone ready?" They all nodded and we got into place.

I crouched down low, waiting for the right moment to strike. I could see Lucinda hovering only metres away. She was concentrating too much on the potions she was making to notice me crawling up behind her. Once her back was fully facing me, I jumped.

In one hand I held the stabilising crystal, and in the other I held the strength crystal. I moved my hands together slowly, until the crystals were fully touching. I could feel the power radiating from the crystals. I closed my eyes and focused hard until I heard Lucinda struggling. Her potion side was strong, but the crystals were stronger.
