I limped my way back to the clearing. My bleeding had increased ten times more than it had been before. I pushed on, trying to grit my teeth against the pain. I had to get back. For Aphmau...
I took slow steps, forcing my mind to focus. It was tough and I just couldn't. My body collapsed onto the ground. Blood seeped through my bandages and t-short, staining the snow red. I had to push myself up. I wasn't going to give up.
I struggled into the clearing. In front of me I could see Aphmau, struggling against Garroth and Zane as they held her back. I saw Lucinda pour the antidote over her head, but it had no affect. Her eyes settled on me as she struggled. Lucinda looked confused, throwing my a regrettable look. Aphmau screamed. "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH MY LOVE? WHERE IS HE?!"
I looked over to her. She wasn't happy. If I couldn't save her, I had to see her happy... one last time. With a heavy heart, I knew what had to be done. "Garroth... Kim... let her go."
I could see from the look on their faces, that they didn't want to let Aphmau to. But they did. I held out my arms let her run at me. She bent down and picked up the knife I had made her drop earlier. Then she ran and screamed. She slashed. She slashed and said things that cut deeper than the knife.
I knocked the knife out of her hand and she stepped back. Tears flooded her eyes and her voice was filled with regret as she backed away from me. "No! Please... stay back! Stay back..." but I couldn't. I stepped towards her and rapped my arms around her. I rested my chin on top of her head and whispered "you stupid potato..."
As we emerged from the memory, I could feel my arms weakening and my body falling slowly. As I hit the ground, I could no longer hear her heart. Everything was gone. There was only darkness.
(Added the video because I'm a lazy nugget who can't be bothered to write the fight scene between Ein and Aaron because I can just put a video which people will probs find more entertaining 😂 also note I'm writing this at 3am so I'm pretty tired and it's a school night/day 😂 and I added the music video because I love the memory scene and the singing ❤️ couldn't not have it 😊😂)
