Crimson Pack

Chapter 6

Aria~

I walk up the stairs as quickly as I possible. Before I reach my floor I just hope that the guards are not back. The last thing that I want is Stuart scolding me.

I turn left to my floor and I stop dead in my tracks when I see Stuart looking at me. His eyes widen and he looks shocked .

"Miss Aria why are you out here ?" He asks and makes his way to my side .

"First of all call me Aria. Secondly, I just wanted to walk outside for a while. You weren't here so I couldn't ask you " I tell him and he shakes his head

"Aria this is not how it works. You should have waited for me. What if something happened to you? It would be my fault and trust me they would make sure that my death will be slow and painful " he explains

"They would never do that " I refuse to accept it

"Trust me they would " he insists

"In which pack do you belong to ?" He asks me

"Emerald pack, " I tell him

"That's why you don't believe me. Everything is peaceful over there " he half laughs

"No that's not true " I try to change his mind

"Okay, Aria ! You should get in your room now " he says and grabs my arm.

"Don't tell me what to do and don't touch me " without even realising it I yell the last part and walk backwards

" What's going on here ?" A voice says from behind me. I know this voice. I refuse to turn around

"Aria, " the voice says again and I turn around as slow as humanly possible

" Alpha Xavier " Stuart says

" What happened Aria ?" He ignores him and looks in my eyes

"Nothing, " I say and look down at my feet. I am sure that my cheeks are so red right now

"It doesn't look like it, " he says. His voice demanding

"Guard, what's your name ?" He asks Stuart

"Stuart sir " he replies

" Okay Stuart leave us alone for a minute, " Xavier tells him

"There's nothing to talk about, " I tell him and walk towards my bedroom door. Before they have enough time I get in my room and slam it shut.

My back against the door as I slide down until I hit the floor . A few minutes pass and no one knocks on my door

"Aria please open the door " Xavier says . His voice soft behind the thick wood. I was expecting him to yell at me .

"I'm not going to yell at you " he says as if he can read my thoughts

I stand up and slowly open the door.
I walk away and look out of my window. I listen to the door closing again.

"Aria I hope  you're aware that if you keep up with this attitude you'll have to leave, "he tells me and I'm so glad that I am not looking at him right now

" You've got everything here. What makes it so difficult for you. None of the other girls has acted like that " he continues

" I am from the Emerald pack. What do you expect? " I say without turning around

"So this is the problem here, " he says and walks next to me

" Yes, " I say

" Okay let's make a deal then, " he says and I look at him with a surprised look
