Xavier~

"Stay " her voice soft, her eyes still closed.

I have to admit that I am very surprised. I never thought that she would be brave enough to say something like that. Who am I kidding?  It's Aria. She's done more than that. I smile at my thoughts.

I walk the other side of the bed and pull the covers. I lay down next to her.

"Good night Aria " I whisper

She puts her head on my chest and murmurs something in her sleep. I sleepily put my arm around her waist and snuggles up.

Aria~

I wake up, my head rests on something hard. I blink a few times. That's when I realise what's going on.

I sit up and he flutters open his eyes.

"I am so sorry "I cover my face in my hands

"Why are you sorry ?" he asks me and rubs my eyes

"For this, for us " I look at him and he just smiles

"Not a big deal Aria. Chill" he laughs

"It is " I lay my head down

"Aria" he shakes his head

"Do I look upset ?" He asks me

"No " I whisper

"Then it's not a big deal " he shrugs

"What if someone finds out ?" I ask him and stand up, crossed legs.

"As far as I know I don't have any stalkers, wandering in my room " he sounds serious, I just look at my toes.

"Aria " he calls my name but I ignore him.

He's about to say something but the knock on the door interrupts him.

"Come in, " he says loud enough do the other person will hear it.

"Good morning Alpha and sorry for intruding, but you should be informed that if you want to attend Miss Kinsley's funeral we'll have to leave very soon," one of the guards tells him

"Thanks, Gabriel. We'll leave in a few minutes "Xavier says and the guard exits the room

"Are you sure that you want to go ?" He asks me once again and I just nod.

"Okay, then you'll have to get ready" he informs me

"I'm going back to my room now, " I tell him

"Do you want me to escort you or will you be fine with my guard ?" He asks me

"I trust them because you do " I wink and he smiles. With that, I leave his room. When the door closes I leave that breath that I haven't realised that I was holding.

I didn't even say a word to the guard. One of them follows me silently. I turn around but Xavier isn't there.

"Wait, how did you know ?" I ask him

"Mind link, Miss Aria "he smiles

"Oh right!I forgot that "I laugh and try to hide my embarrassment.

We reach my floor and it's so quiet. Actually, it's always quiet. When I walk in front of Kinsley's room, I stop. The guard stops as well.

"Miss Aria, are you okay ?" He asks me and I nod as I reach my bedroom door. I am surprised that Stuart isn't there.
