Chapter 47

Xavier~

The morning is here and I barely slept last night. It wasn't because I had things to do or I had nightmares; it was Aria.

I am in love with her. I am catastrophically in love with her. But I let her go...I didn't stop her. I know she won't be happy with me. But it kills me to know what we could have been together.

Now look at me...I am stuck with my stupid mate, Emerson. I can't stand her. I spent a few hours with her yesterday. She was complaining about leaving her alone the other night. Me, being the gentleman that I am, I stood up and left the room. I am sure the wall understands her better than I do. I haven't seen her ever since then. And the truth is that I don't want to see her. She will start complaining again so I will keep avoiding her for a while.

They say that when you find your mate you can't stay long without her. You want to feel her presence close to you. But I don't feel that way. I can stay miles away from her without missing her. When she is somewhere next to me, all I want to do is leave.

I ruined my life. I ruined my future. I made a stupid decision and I really regret that now. I regret listening to my mum and choosing Emerson.

"Xavier are you going to come out of your room anytime soon? We need to talk immediately " Emerson shouts from outside. I stand up and walk to the door. When I open it I see a very furious Emerson.

"What the hell Xavier ? Why would you leave me twice? I was waiting for you to come back and apologise to me for not hearing me out when I was talking but you never did. I was waiting all night" I turn around and sit on my bed, burying my head in my hands.

"Emerson, you need to know something " I take a deep breath and tell her.

"What is that ?" She crosses her arms in front of her chest.

"You are leaving this place. Immediately " I tell her

"Oh are we moving out of here ?" She claps her hands

"Yes we are " I smile sarcastically

"And where are we going? " She asks me

"You. You are going. I am staying here" I tell her

"Oh! You will come later ?" She asks me

"Emerson you are leaving. Permanently. I don't want you here anymore. You are going back to your house and you will live your life just like you used to. Forget about me. There is no Xavier." I say and she opens her mouth to say something.

"Get out of my room Emerson " I say but she doesn't move.

"I said get out!" I grab her wrist, open the door and push her outside.

"No go and pack your bags " I show her the stairs.

"You are insane Xavier. That's what you are. You can't reject me. I am not leaving and you can't make me. You are my mate and never forget that. I will let you calm down and we can discuss about this later " Emerson shouts. I know my guards are watching but I don't care.

"Do you want me to spell that or you ? We. Are. Done. " I shout back and she storms down the stairs. I know where she is going. She will bring my mum. Then my mum will try to change my mind. But that's it. I have had enough of them. This is my life and I will choose whoever I want.

Now all I want to do is get Aria back. I run down the stairs. And slam the front door open. While I am waiting for the guards to bring my car, my mum appears.

"Xavier are you out of your mind ? What did you say to that poor girl ?" My mother yells at me.

"She is leaving mum. I don't want her here. I don't care if she is my mate. I don't like her. " I explain.
