Chapter 17

Xavier~

"What's his name Macy?" I ask her, towering over her

"Jacob Johnson " she confesses, her voice almost inaudible. She slides down the wall.

I walk out of the room and slam the door closed.

"Take her back to her cell " I say to one guard and he obeys.

I walk up the stairs as fast as possible. When I reach Aria's floor, I don't bother knocking her door.

I see her Allison sitting together. They looked scared just for a milliesecond.

"Alpha " says Allison

"Allison get out of here please " I say calmly

She stands up, after looking at Aria and then walks out.

"What happened? " She asks me

"Aria what is Jacob Johnson to you ?" I ask her and she looks confused

"Jacob Johnson? " She asks me

"You heard me " I lift my eyebrow

"I've never heard of him " she tells me

"Damn it Aria! Don't lie to me " I hit the table next to me and she shifts in her seat.

"Why would I lie to you ?" She tells me and looks at my eyes.

I grab her wrist firmly  and drag her out of her room.

"You're hurting me " she complains and tries to get my arm off of her, but I ignore her.

" Xavier, stop " she shouts and I stop

"Why the hell would I lie to you Xavier " she shouts once again

"Stop yelling " I scold her

"You're being insane right now. You're furious and you can't think clearly "she keeps yelling

Some guards peek here, when the see me the go back to her job.

"My office. Now " I growl and she just rolls her eyes.

I walk inside first and she follows me inside.

"Could you tell me what's going on? " She asks me

"So you're telling me that you don't know who Jacob Johnson is ?" I ask her

"No. I would tell you if I did " she admits and sits down

"I know that we have the same last name but I've no idea who he is Xavier" she tells me

"Follow me " I tell her and she stands up, then follows me outside.

'Where is the dead body ' I mind link Fabian

'It's still here, on the basement' he replies

'Get him out of whatever place you've put it in and leave him down there" I order

'Yes Alpha ' he says

"Where are we going ?" She asks me

" You'll see" I reply, without even looking at her.

Aria~

The basement is more of a bunker, all concrete and no personality. Near the ceiling are long low windows, no wider than the slits in a castle turret but lying on their sides. Without any circulation of air the stagnant aroma makes it dungeonesque and the unsoftened echo of my feet bring on a claustrophobic feeling.

"Xavier " I whisper

I can hear his sigh and he turns around as slow as humanly possible.

"I am not going to leave you here " he tells me
