Chapter 30

Allison~

I want to get out of this room. I want to leave this place so badly. I want to pack up a bag and head somewhere that I can be happy and forget everyone. I don't want to see anyone again. Everyone but Aria. She's the only one that can understand me. I wish I had a delete button in my life to delete some people, places, some memories and some feelings.

I stand up, the heavy chair scratches the floor, my feet hit the ground and make their way to the Alpha.

"Alpha I would like to go back to my room " I whisper when I am closer to him.

"Why? We're all here now " he whispers, his voice hides curiosity.

"I really want to go. Please " I beg him.

"You can't leave right now Allison. What's wrong ? " he asks me

"I just want to go to my room, " I tell him again but he doesn't seem very bothered.

"I said no " he refuses. I really have to get out of this room. The air is so thick and it is making it very difficult for me to breathe.

I run, feet touching the floor. Perhaps a little while ago I would have baulked at the idea of running with these shoes on. The door slams shut behind me. This is how I write my pain into the air, hoping that someone will understand how to stop the storm - praying that there will be someone who can calm the winds that tear at my insides.

I can see the guard from the corner of my eye. He follows me in silence, without asking if I am okay. When I reach my room, I throw myself on the bed and hide my head under the pillows. Only this pillow can understand all the emotions that I hide from the world.

There's a light knock on the door. I groan and slowly stand up. I sigh before touching the door knob and open the door. Aria and the Alpha are outside. Aria looks very worried and I can see some fear in her eyes as well. I can't really tell how Xavier feels. His blue eyes have nothing to show to me. Or maybe I am just too blind to notice any emotions.

"Allison are you okay ?" Aria asks me

"I need to talk to you. Privately. " I say. Aria's eyes find Xavier's and he nods in approval, leaving us alone without asking anything.

I step aside so Aria can walk inside my room. She sits down on my bed and waits for me to explain. I take my shoes off and sit down in front of her while crossing my legs.

"What happened? " She understands that I am not going to start the conversation so she speaks first.

"I am going to describe the whole scene so you can understand, " I tell her and she nods.

*Flashback *

"I hope you like this dress, " my maid tells me and I smile.

"I love it, " I tell her and a smile appears on her face.

"What time is it ?" I ask her

"7:56, " she tells me

"Oh my God I need to hurry " If I am late, I am sure that Xavier is going to kill me.

"Thanks for your help. I'll see you later " I walk out of my room and walk down the stairs as fast as I can. These shoes are giving me a hard time though.

I am a few steps away from the ground floor and my eyes scan the room. Fourteen eyes are staring at me, making me feel very uncomfortable.

"Come here Allison, " Xavier tells me and I shake my head a little bit just to clear my head. Aria smiles and I return a very faint smile.
