Crimson Pack

Chapter 26

Xavier~

When I walked in my office, people started asking me questions about the elimination. It was good that I had some time off, now I have a ton of things to do.

'Alpha it's almost dinner time ' my assistant mind links me.

I stand up, open my door and make my way to my room. I need to wear something nicer since it's the 'big day'  today, that's what my parents told me . I'm so lost in my thoughts. I know that I'll just announce a name, but I am sure that it will be worse for the girl that will have leave. The last few days I've learnt more things about them. I've come closer to each one of them. I wish I had to choose between the 6 of them but now there are only 4. This means that I'll have to decide sooner than planned. 

Found a suit and put it on. The suit is blue....sharp-looking, and well-fitted. I am not going to wear a tie. Suits an ties make me feel very uncomfortable. I'm maintaining a façade that I don't enjoy, and the suit itself doesn't exactly feel good even when it's tailored.

There are a lot of things that I hate about being an Alpha. First of all everyone expects everything from me. They can't work without my orders. I wish I had more free time. Sometimes I need to be alone. Not to be lonely, but to enjoy my free time being myself. At least I don't have any guards following me.

I walk back downstairs. My parents are already there. The girls haven't arrived yet.

"Hello mother, father " I greet them as I sit down

"Hello my dear! It's the first elimination. Are you nervous? " My mum asks me

"Why would he be nervous Selena? He's just going to announce a name " my dad tells her

"No, I am not even slightly nervous " I admit and she nods with a smile.

"Are you sure about your decision?" My mum asks me once again.

"You look more nervous than me mum" I laugh

"I just want to make sure that you won't change your mind later " she says

"I won't " I reassure her and she nods.

The door opens and Emerson walks inside.  She smiles and my parents start a conversation with her. Allison walks in afterwards. My parents talk to her as well. Gianna comes inside then and the last one is Aria. Most girls are dressed like they're going to a wedding. Most dresses are so extreme.  Especially Emerson's. She looks like a chandelier in this dress.

Aria looks absolutely stunning in her dress. It is grey and it suits her skin tone.However I like her more in her casual clothes. I'm sure that she doesn't enjoy wearing formal clothes. At least that's what she has showed.

"Welcome ladies. Today my son is going to announce the girl that will eliminate. But this will happen after dinner " my dad speaks for me.

Nobody speaks. You can only hear some whispers here and there and that's all. I can sense that they're all very nervous. Not Aria though. She looks perfectly fine, chewing her food faster than the other girls and glancing around the room. I catch her saying a few things to Allison and she laughs a little bit. The problem with the other girls is that all of them try too hard. They try too hard to be someone they're not.

The maids pick up our plates and all of us stay in silence. I can feel my mum's gaze, but I refuse to look at her. I cough to get everyone's attention and all the people in the room look at me.

"Thank you for being here today. As you already know, I am going to say which girl is going to leave. You should all know that it was very difficult for me to decide. I know that the last few weeks have been tough for all of us. A lot of things have happened and they have affected our lives. Only this week I got to spend more time with you, so I have learnt more things about you. You should know that all of you are truly  amazing and my decision shouldn't change your characters. " I tell them

"Unfortunately the girl that will leave this place is Gianna " I annonce and look at her. I can see the pain in her eyes, Emerson hugs her.

"You will return to your Pack tomorrow morning. I hope you enjoyed your stay" I give her a smile.

"I really did. I am sorry that I wasn't good enough for you " Gianna says and I give her another sympathetic smile.

My parents stand up to talk to her once again and then they leave the room. Gianna and Emerson leave afterwards after saying their goodbyes. Allison says something to Aria and she nods, but remains seated, still looking at me.

"I felt bad for her " she says

"Why would you feel bad ?" I ask her and sit down next to her

"I just know that she hoped that she would stay longer " she confesses

"I thought that you didn't like her " I raise an eyebrow.

"I never got to spend time with her. But she's friends with Emerson so..." She shrugs and doesn't finish her sentence.

"I wanted to call Emerson's name, but I  am sure that my Pack would react and I wanted to avoid that " I tell her

"It's your decision. One of us will be the Luna. They're not going to spend the rest of their lives with any of us. You should do whatever you want " she tells me and I chuckle

"You have got an attitude " I say

"It took me 17 years to create this incredible personality. It's totally worth it " she winks

"I am sure " I joke

"What are you trying to imply Fireboy? " She asks me

"You kept the nickname" I laugh

"And I am not going to change it so you better get used to that " she winks at me.

"I had fun today " I say

"I had more fun " she laughs

"I know you did. Next time I am going to show you my Pack " I tell her

"Sounds perfect. You really need to turn the fountain into a chocolate fountain though. Then I'll admit that your Pack is better than mine " she jokes

"Not happening " I shake my head

"It will ruin your reputation " she laughs

"Exactly! I am the Alpha of the Crimson Pack. I can't have a chocolate fountain in front of my house " I say

"I can promise you that you will change your mind one day " she tells me

"Keep waiting Aria" I shake my head

"I will " she says as she stands up

"Good night " she tells me and leaves the dinning room.

She's unbelievable....

I don't know about you but I do like Peppa lol it's the stupidest cartoon but I still watch it lol
