Chapter 15

Aria~

I don't know how this happened, but it's already lunch time. Which means that in a few hours, we will get that guy. I walk down the stairs and enter the dining-room. Everyone is in there so I am the last one who joined them. All eyes focus on me which leads to me blushing. I quickly sit down next to Allison.

"It's the big day " she whispers

"It is freaking me out " I confess

"Everything will be fine, " she tells me

"I hope so " I give her a fake smile, just to cover up my fears.

The door slams open and Xavier walks inside. His eyes travel around the room as if he's searching for something. When his eyes land on me, they stay there. He doesn't look mad or something like that. Just worried I would say.

"Aria, can you follow me please ?" Xavier asks me. I stand up without answering and follow him outside.

"What's wrong Xavier? " I ask him

"We need your help, " he tells me

"How can I help you ?" I ask him

"First of all, you need to tell us where you saw them, "he tells me as he leads me to his office.

"Okay, you follow the stone path and open the wooden door. I can't remember the exact spot that I saw them but it was in the wilder part of the garden which looks like a forest " I explain him and he nods.

"Okay, and one last thing " he adds

"Can you remember his smell. I mean, werewolves have a scent based on their Pack" he tells me

"I do remember his scent. However, I don't know where that smell belongs to " I tell him

There's a knock on his door and some guards appear.

"Alright. We'll help you a bit. The clothes that the guards are holding are from every single Pack. This will help you recognise the scent "he tells me and I nod.

The guards give me the clothes and I try to find his scent. I smell them one by one carefully.

"None of them smell like him " I look up and meet his gaze.

"Are you sure ?" he asks me

"I think so. I would definitely recognise the smell but none of them rings me any bells " I shrug

"Alpha what about rogues? " a guard asks him

"Bring something that smells like them " he orders and the guard is gone in a matter of seconds.

A few minutes later he comes back inside after knocking the door. He passes me the cloth and steps back.

"That's the one, " I tell him

"Are you sure Aria ?" He asks me again

"Yes! 100% sure " I tell him

"He's a little rebel" he jokes

"Are rogues stronger than this Pack ?" I ask him

"Rogues are quite strong, but we're definitely stronger than them " he sits down next to me

"Are you nervous? " I ask him

" Only a little bit. I am more excited" he confesses

"He won't get away " I confront him

"I know that. I am just hoping that he won't have any men with him " he says

"True " I sigh

"Sorry for interrupting your lunch by the way, " he tells me
