Chapter 21

Aria ~

A few minutes later we've finished our dinner. Allison tells me some random stuff about her date with him, but I can't say that I pay much attention. My thoughts are a bit messed up lately.

"Okay ladies, you can go back to your rooms when you're ready " Caitlin tells us.

All of the girls stand up but I stay where I am.

"Are you coming or what ?" Allison asks me

"Yes, I'll be out of here in a few minutes" I tell her and she nods, then leaves the room.

It's only me and him in this room. He's looking at me without saying anything. He wants me to speak up first. I don't really know what to tell him though. I don't even know why I am still here.

I shake my head as if I was dreaming and push my chair being me. I walk towards the door with steady steps. I avert my gaze from him. As I am about to open the door, his voice stops me.

"Are you going to talk to me anytime soon ?" He asks me

"Eventually I'll have to do that "I say still touching the door knob just to be ready.

"Just talk to me whenever you are ready "he says and I turn around to look at him.

"Talk about what Xavier ?" I ask him

"All of this " he tells me

"I don't think that they're something that we need to discuss " I snap

" Stop it Aria. Just stop it! Tell me why are you ignoring me ? I'm trying to understand what I did wrong, I am trying to think of something, anything that will make me understand that this is my fault. But I have no idea Aria. I'm trying to talk to you and you act like I'm not even speaking to you. I am trying to help you, but all you do is push me away and face the pain that you've been going through alone. Let me tell you that you're making this worse for yourself. Why is it so difficult for you to sit down and tell me what the hell is going on. Because I swear if you leave that door without explaining I will lose it. So sit down and talk. That's all I'm asking for " his raises his voice to me.

"How would you feel if you found out your life is a lie Xavier? I just found out that I had a brother and now he's dead. I never got to speak to him. My mother, my so beloved and honest mother is the one that did this to me. Because she never told me the truth. If she had told, none of this would have happened. I feel like I'm drowning in my own thoughts. My thoughts are literally killing me. There are so many voices in my head and they're all driving me crazy. But now I'm sick and tired of pretending that I am okay. Because I am not. I'm tired of faking that I'm fine and smiling like nothing is wrong " I shout in frustration

"Finally " he sighs

"I'm sorry for you brother Aria. I really am. But don't forget that he put all of you in danger. He wanted to kill me and he somehow deserved that he's dead now. He killed your best friend, this still kills you inside, but you never show it. No matter how tough things may feel, I'll always be waiting around the corner. I know you don't really want to talk right now and thats understandable. I know that I can never find the right words to make someone feel better, but I always listen . I guess that's all that I can do" he adds

"Well, thank you. I just need one thing from you " I tell him

"What is it ?"

"Let me see my mum " I ask him

"Tomorrow morning we'll drive you to your Pack. We'll have to be here before dinner though " he tells me

"Thank you. Thanks a lot " I smile
