"We have to check all the guards. That girl died because one of our guards betrayed us" everyone in this room is looking at me. This is getting really serious.

"So Alpha what do you suggest? "

"We will be waiting for them in 2 days. I will need all the help that I can get. I don't think he'll have any other people with him, but just in case " I explain to my betas

"Sure Alpha! We will give you our best warriors " Beta Riley says

"That's all for today " I announce and all of them nod and leave the room. Riley stays.

"Kinsley's funeral will be tomorrow," he tells me

" Where ?" I ask

"Her Pack, " he says

"I'll be there, " I tell him

This day has been so hectic. I wonder who that guy is. What does he have against me and why does he want me dead? I guess I'll find out soon.

I walk up to my room. The guards still outside.

"Is she still here ?" I ask them

"Yes, Alpha. She's been really quiet " one of my guards say

"Okay thanks, " I say and open the door, trying not to make much noise. It's dark in the room. The only light is coming from the window. I look around the room. She's not on the bed. I look around more carefully and see her sleeping on the chair in front of the window.

I walk closer and notice that's wearing one of my shirts. It reaches her middle thigh since she's so tiny.

I grab a blanket from my bed and cover her up. She murmurs something in her sleep but doesn't open her eyes.

There's a knock on my door and when I open the door I notice my assistant.

"I am sorry Alpha for coming here. One of our maids is searching for one of the contestants but she doesn't know where she is " she tells me

"Is that Aria ?" I ask her

"Yes. She's not in her room " she says and I smile

"Tell her that she's in another room for the night. She shouldn't worry about her " I lie to her. News spread pretty fast in this place so we don't want anyone to find out.

"Oh okay, I will! I am sorry once again" she says and walks away.

When I turn around Aria is not sleeping anymore. She's still sitting in that chair watching out of the window.

"Sorry, didn't mean to wake you up, " I tell her and my voice scares her and I can see that she flinches.

"It's okay, " she says

"How are you feeling? " I ask her as I walk towards her

"I wish I knew " she shrugs and I sigh

"You were good friends, right ?" I ask her

" She was the one that approached me first. The one who talked to me first. From the first minute, I knew that we would be friends. I knew that I could trust her " she says and looks down at her feet, struggling to hold her tears back

" I am sorry Aria. Didn't mean to upset you again " I apologise

"It's okay. Maybe I should go "she stands up
