Today's session seemed very long. I started with mindfulness meditation, listening to different sounds, observing bodily sensations. Eventually, I drifted off into regular meditation, thinking about random things like what I want to do after meditation. Then I was brought back to reality by a tear. My eyes watered up and one single tear trailed down my cheek. I wanted so badly to reach up and wipe it away, but I didn't want to break my stance. It was very uncomfortable feeling the moisture on my skin, sitting there, waiting to drip. When it finally did, the feeling of discomfort didn't go away and I found myself pleading for time to be up. It was hard to focus on anything but the tear until the end. Then I nearly jumped out of my seat when my phone started to vibrate. Time's up!
