Having trouble remembering to meditate? Try an app. Before I started my meditation practice, I used apps to track my mood. Many of those apps also had meditation tutorials and guides. They occasionally remind you to check in with yourself and can be a good reminder to meditate. Two of my favorite ones are Pacifica and Headspace.
