Today I followed an exercise by Anthony De Mello. I imagined what I would say to my friends and family if I knew I would die tomorrow.

Don't expect anything from anyone. Expectation is the killer of love and friendship. Habits make you who you are. Everyone has their own agenda in mind, which isn't bad, just reality. I enjoyed the arts the most while I was here. Books, television and art can be very insightful and there is much that can be learned from them. I would tell all my friends and family to find happiness, whatever that meant for them. Forget money as much as you can and do the things you dream of. Life really isn't long enough to spend it doing things you don't want to do.
